If you are looking for a vet in the Fort Lauderdale/Pompano Beach and surrounding areas, look no further. I had to take my sphynx cat in for an exam and I could not be more impressed by the intelligence, professionalism, kindness, patience and caring of Dr. Summer. Totally chill and so nice, yet is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge. Madie the tech that worked with us was wonderful, and their entire staff welcomes you with open arms and could not be more accommodating if they tried. They were extremely transparent when it came to pricing showing you a document that spells everything out in detail and the cost, and did not upsell or push you to make immediate decisions without processing things further as trips to vets can be quite overwhelming. Highly A+ recommend, and I am very particular when it comes to my cat, the one and only Caspurr. (Photo below does not show he is displeased, that is just his normal resting face.)

My dog was back up and walking in circles crying. I called, they said, "bring him right in." In no time diagnosed, fixed and out the door with meds. Lauren is the sweetest person ever up front. Christian and Dr M were awesome! Thank you always from the bottom of my heart for the love and care you show to my family❤️

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Summers. Our dogs get the greatest care ever with her. She truly cares about the health of our animals. We have used Dr. Summers to care for our pets for years. She is so loving and caring. She is also flexible and thinks outside the box which we absolutely love!!! We breed GSD and they labor at our farm about 2hrs away. Dr. Summers even does everything she can from far away. Love this place!!!!

I cannot say enough how wonderful everyone is at Summers Animal Hospital. From the front desk staff to the vet techs and of course Dr. Summers and Dr. Murray. Their genuine care and compassion is evident, genuine and heartfelt. They are so loving and patient with my dogs and they make a bad experience almost pleasurable for my fur babies. They are always punctual with the appointment times, don’t suggest exams or tests that aren’t necessary and certainly don’t nickel and dime their clients, something I experienced at my prior vet. Their communication with me after appointments is second to none and I am absolutely thrilled to have Summer’s Animal Hospital as the caregiver to my babies. Highly recommend, highly satisfied, and will remain loyal to this practice. They’re really awesome! ❤️

I’ve been taking my dogs here since the day they opened. Dr Summer and all her staff is superb. Donna at the front desk is so friendly and efficient, Christian is so knowledgeable and kind. Everyone is great ! I’m grateful for the professional and compassionate care my pets are receiving. I’ve hunted for the perfect Vetinary clinic and I’ve found it!

Best Vet office in all of South Florida. The fact that appointments are available much sooner than any other vet my fur babies have been to. The fact that you are allowed in the building with your fur babies (prior vet office would let humans in the building since the whole pandemic occurred). The fact that their prices are the more reasonable ones my husband and I have seen in a long time. Not to mention have loving, caring and awesome everyone there is. You guys rock!
