Banfield Pet Hospital

Excellent experience with this Banfield Pet Hospital in Pompano Beach. Melissa, the receptionist, was outstanding, kind, professional, and extremely informative. She followed up quickly, clearly explained the doctor’s recommendations, and kept me fully updated on everything regarding Thanos. Her communication and reassurance truly made a stressful situation much easier. It’s clear she genuinely cares about both pets and their owners. Highly recommend this location and extra thanks to Melissa for her exceptional customer service.

My fur baby and I have been coming here for a little over a year now since we moved to the area. Hands down the absolute best care that my fur baby has ever received. He actually enjoys his visit and it fills my heart with joy to see how much love and care is given to my fur baby at his visits. Thank you to Nurse Chelsea for always giving him the best care and thank you for all the knowledge and information you provide to me during our visits. Happy Holidays !

My experience was terrible; I would not recommend this place to anyone. The staff are poor professionals and lack proper qualifications. I brought my little dog in with nasal cancer—a condition that had actually been diagnosed at another clinic—because, at this facility, they supposedly performed diagnostic tests. I paid a high price for these tests, yet they never showed me the results (which leads me to suspect they charged me for procedures that were never actually performed—in other words, they stole from me). They simply told me over the phone that she had a tooth infection. Three days later, she began bleeding from her nose; at that point, they told me there was nothing they could do and instructed me to seek help elsewhere. I took her to another clinic where she was properly examined and diagnosed, but three days after that, she passed away. All in all, my experience was abysmal; I felt robbed and deceived.

The customer service here stinks from the front desk to the doctors. Had a gal upfront bark at me for asking if her dog she was walking was sick because it was coughing up a lung. And the gal that took my dog to the back was like "leash your dog " after I took her make shift leash off. 1st of all, wait! Im doing it. 2. Dont tell me what to do. 3. My dog is a trained service dog she aint going nowhere or running a muck. Calm the hell down!

Our yorkie, Niko is new to the Banfield Pet Hospital. I love how easy you can schedule appts, drop-off your pet if you wish, and the caring hearts the staff gives to our fur-baby. We have the membership plan which gives us piece of mind for our yorkie's care and keeps him all up to date on routine shots/check ups at no additional cost. We are happy that we found a great place for Niko!!

Second person to arrive. Once inside I’m told I need to wait 30min and it was told me "It is a drop off" - what this means? That you make people wait whatever time you want when you book as many as you want at 7. Costumer service, in my opinion bad and lack or organization with the booking. Also, I was told that I would be giving the 6month supply for the simparica, when I requested it… we don’t have it has to be shipped.

Cannon has been coming to this Banfield since 2021 and we love how well they take care of our little man. The team is very knowledgeable, they have helped us with many problems from detecting arthritis on our pet to help us with his behavior. They treat cannon however he feels more comfortable they keep him outside of the cage when he’s too nervous. And the morning drop-off is quite convenient for us they keep us in the loop with his treatments calling us or leaving voicemails, so we can know if there is another procedure or if he’s ready to come home. We love this place and if you are looking for a great vet near you, this place is just great
