Love City Vet - South Philly

I went to Love City Vet South Philly yesterday for the first time for an Emergency for my 8 month old kitten . Dr.Rachel Palis,was amazing intelligent caring and very knowledgeable. Vet Tech Caroline,and the Dr were both very gentle and took there time with my kitten who is afraid of everyone .They made my cat BeBop and my husband and I feel very comfortable. I will be seeing them again due to my cat's problem .I feel like we are in great hands. This is speaking from experience because I was a vet tech for years until I retired! I would recommend anyone who is looking for a vet to go here.

Love city vet is truly the best place to take your animals. The staff is truly so amazing, I have taken both my dog and kitten here. The doctors will never push unnecessary procedures onto you if not needed. They are open and honest, they are willing to find a way to meet your needs of your animal and staying within your budget. They love your animals like their own. The office is super clean and doesn’t smell like a vet which is a huge plus. I’m so happy to have a local vet near me I can trust

The staff is amazing! Kobe came to me with zero history. He had double ear infections and severe anxiety. He was in pain and scared. They lived on him and did what needed to be done not what they could have done. I don’t feel like they pushed treatment like I have in other offices. I am happy to say he is settling in and his ears are much better.

The ladies at LoveCity Vet in South Philly are amazing, from the concierge to the vet techs and the veterinarian. Their passion for animals and their health, and for the support and education of the owners is front and center. Dr Wheeler, Caroline and Tori were all so sweet to my cat baby Nēko, and even though his diagnosis was poor and resulted in me making the heart wrenching decision to put him to sleep, I could not have chosen a safer place to do so. Should Nēko send me another kitty to love, I will no doubt bring them to LoveCity. Thank you 🙏🏾 🐱

Love City Vet goes above and beyond caring for your animal family members. Our cat has had a slew of issues and Dr. Wheeler and team have done an amazing job diagnosing and treating what is a somewhat rare allergy. She even texts us to check in months after our last visit to make sure everything is still going well. The billing process is extremely transparent too - you can see the costs of each intervention before you agree to a service and the vet will work with you on finding a treatment that fits your budget.

Love taking our dog here. Dr. Palis and the techs are wonderful. Our girl Julez Kiki is always warmly welcomed and they not know how to calm her down when she gets a little anxious. They’re a touch pricey as compared to other places, but we have found it to be worth it.

Best vet I’ve ever been to. Everything about the user experience if thoughtful. I have 3 cats with various health needs and Dr. Palis sees all 3. One of my elderly cats in particular is having a hard time with a UTI we just can’t seem to get rid of. Dr. Palis has been easy to get ahold of, communicative, transparent, and completely supportive of my decisions. Also, user-friendliness of the online storefront and scheduling experience is remarkable as well!! I cannot recommend Love City Vet enough.
