My cat was hospitalized for three days, and I worked with two different vets during my cat’s stay. Both of them were so sweet and understanding. While the whole experience was quite expensive (understandably), it was well worth it. They gave me updates (which was much needed because I was an emotional mess). I even got to visit my cat during his hospitalization. Everyone (vets, nurses, and front desk) were great! Thank you so much!
We brought our 8 month old kitten here after she ingested some plastic from her slow feeder - we had only adopted her less than 2 weeks prior so we were very overwhelmed and stressed, but everyone at BluePearl was beyond kind and helpful. We were able to be helped right away and they took great care of our girl. Dr. Tyler-Jane Robins was direct, patient, and thorough throughout the consultation, and everyone else at the office was extremely kind. We are so relieved that our kitten was in good hands ❤️ BluePearl is absolutely our go-to for emergencies.
My 7 week old puppy decided to swallow a screw that got discovered by a different blue pearl where he wasn’t able to puke it up and needed endoscopy or surgery, neither of which were available at the original BluePearl that day. Christiana was fantastic calling around to the surrounding locations to find one that was able to do it. Philly got my little guy back to okay and kept me reassured the entire way. Jellybean and I are both pleased with the service (I think he might like it a bit more with how popular and spoiled he was)
I’m incredibly grateful to BluePearl Emergency & Specialty Veterinary Medicine for the exceptional care and compassion shown to Juney. She was truly treated like a movie star. The team took the time to thoughtfully manage her very stubborn wound, explain every nuance of the care plan, and patiently answer all of my questions. The surgical team was consistently available and reassuring throughout. I’m also deeply appreciative of their kind, thoughtful words regarding the untimely passing of my beloved Pippa. That level of empathy, alongside such excellent medical care, truly sets this team apart. Highly recommend.
Came in with an emergency to induce vomiting in my dog as we thought he’d eaten a silicone mouthguard. I was immediately taken care of and the vet tech came out to get my dog before I’d finished giving my information. The vet was patient and informative. He didn’t throw it up so, before we incurred the ultrasound cost, she asked if we were certain he’d eaten it. Turns out he didn’t and my child found it where we least expected it. Our dog LOVED the techs and was rolling around asking for tummy rubs the whole time. Very satisfied with our whole experience even the cost. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but it was reasonable for an emergency visit at $280. Having spent $1,500-4,000 for other emergency visits, this was a pleasant surprise.
Dr Lauren DelMastro Internal Med is fabulous. Spent so much time with us going over everything with detailed explanations and left with a plan after many tests, ER visit etc with no answers prior to our appt at BluePearl.
We needed an emergency vet for our dog who had an anal gland abscess. I’ve heard really good things about this location so we decided to make the trip out there from the suburbs. We saw Dr. McCarthy who was great. She answered all our questions and told us the next steps on how to treat our dog and what to expect. The staff was also great and super friendly. Check in was easy as well. We spent about 45 minutes there and left with medication and a cone. The only reason I gave 4 stars was because the price to even get seen was really steep ($280) and we ended up spending about $400 total. It gave me peace of mind that we got him checked out and we were able to leave with what he needed and if there was a medical emergency in the middle of the night again that couldn’t wait until morning I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.
