Dr. Fahey and the entire team here at VEG in Palo Alto were absolutely fantastic! My dog inhaled a foxtail and they immediately took action and resolved the issue! We are so grateful for their professionalism and care. Every person we interacted with on their large team showed us kindness in a stressful situation and helped answer all my questions. We were in and out in less than an hour and a half and the price was so reasonable for the level of care he received. Highly recommend this group.

This place ROCKS!!! I brought my cat 5050 in for a foxtail in her eye and they did the deed. Reasonable fees. I’ve been doing TNR ferals for 30-ish years. I have to say this place is the nicest I’ve ever been to. And a week later her follow up showed she is 100% good to good. Rocket crew at VEG. I’m so glad I’m a VEGetarian~ 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I had a great experience at Veterinary Emergency Group. I was seen within a minute of walking in, which immediately made me feel relieved. The open space lets you see the staff working, and everyone was very professional and kind. Dr. Michaela Fahey was especially helpful and informative. I’ve had stressful vet experiences before, so this felt completely different. Even the cost surprised me. Very affordable for a ER. Really grateful for their urgency, transparency, and care. Absalom and I truly appreciate everyone there.

I very highly recommend VEG. Every single member of their team is so knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate. Their clinic is clean, and has an open floor plan, but also has private rooms if your animal needs them. The costs are very reasonable; the price estimate they gave me would've cost thousands at any other emergency clinic (speaking from experience). It is a bit of a drive from where I live, but it is worth it. Thank you for helping Hunter!

I had never been here but my maltipoo had surgery the day prior which was a Friday and of course they were closed on sat. I knew we would need more pain meds than they gave me but wasn’t going to argue. Of course the day after surgery my Kai started whining then she started crying. I gave her what I had on hand and in an hour she was just pathetic. We arrived at VEG an and was immediately greeted by a triage team ready to pounce on any emergency. They took our history, discussed options and we came up with a game plan. They gave her an injection and 30 minutes later she still needed something for anxiety. They gave her something for that too. They offered us drinks or snacks if needed and had comfy little dog beds around if needed. The layout is an open floor plan with 5 or 6 exam tables all equipped for any emergency. The Vet was amazing, they had a nurse to give meds and a scribe to document the happenings. We were discharged home with a good amount of meds to cover her for awhile . They also sent a report to my vet of what had transpired for notification purposes. I can’t say enough wonderful things about the staff! They were great ! I would go there with an emergency of any kind or even to trouble shoot a problem on a weekend. Thanks VEG for your care and compassion!

The doctor was making us all comfortable even they had to do the procedure.Im happy we got to say good byes and this is a recommended place for vets and for animals. We will always have our guinea pig in our heart. She was a friend a animal and most of all our pet. We 100% recommend this place because the staff was kind and helpful to us.

Our older kitty (9) was acting very strange and they took us in with open arms. This was around midnight. They have taken amazing care of him, petting him, giving him the option to stay in the crate, and talking to him during his bloodwork and ultrasound. Making sure he felt safe. They also invite you be with your pet the entire time, which we loved. They truly care about our pets. I highly recommend this place for emergencies.
