Our family has been taking our dogs to Dr. C for 13 years when she was at a small private practice clinic. Ever since she moved to PetCo, it’s been very challenging. Horrible customer service. We lost the individual and personalized care. Turn over in staff all the time. We have moved our care to another small business. It’s too bad as we liked Dr. C.

Thank you, Dr. Block!! Our 12-year-old Pomeranian recently experienced his first seizure, and my husband and I were extremely worried, especially after losing another dog shortly after his first seizure. The clinic was incredibly compassionate and helpful, getting us in almost immediately after we called. Dr. Block was thorough, attentive, and caring throughout the entire visit. We are so grateful for her expertise and kindness - she truly is the best!

Called this clinic to schedule a spay for my dog. Prices said over the phone were completely different and much lower than the ones that that were said in person. Once I showed up to my appointment, an additional $300 were added to the overall cost of the visit. Supposedly, I spoke to the boss of the clinic over the phone and they were still not doing anything to assuage the situation during my visit. Definitely felt like a bait and switch. This is my second time leaving this Petco clinic in Overland Park for a visit with my dog. Same issue with lying about prices over the phone happened when I scheduled the puppy vaccines.

My dog was given a most improved award for not peeling herself when the vet checked her. This means so much to me as my dog is reactive with strangers and has constantly peed herself. But, everyone here is very patient and willing to make her feel as comfortable as possible. Also, their pricing is very honest!

I’m not one to normally leave reviews anywhere, but I couldn’t sleep well if I didn’t share my experience. I’ve had horrible experiences at vets but this was the complete opposite. When I arrived, I was greeted warmly and tended promptly. Alondra was such a ray of sunshine for me and my dog, Bear. Bear is usually shy around new people but absolutely LOVED Alondra. She educated me on the proper food Bear should be eating and all the proper care he should have for fleas and ticks. She was also able to cut his nails (something Bear usually hates). She was able to cut his nails without any issues from Bear. Dr. Block was also an amazing doctor and had such a great energy with Bear. They also didn’t make me feel guilty for not being able to do everything they recommended, which is usually what happens when I go to the vet. Both of these people are more than I could have ever expected from a vet! I will definitely be back and recommend this place to everyone with a furry companion.

The Best Aquatic Exotic Animal Care. Our 13 yr. old red-eared slider had hurt her leg. Our previous aquatics vet had moved away & we were left with searching & getting references. We were referred to Vetco Total Care who took care of aquatic animals. It was a bit far from home but upon arrival as soon as we walked in we were met with friendliness! From the person at the front desk (I forgot to note her name), to Alondra, to Dr. Block! We were very pleased with the care, concern, & professionalism shown.

DR. BLOCK & ALONDRA AT PETCO TOOK VERY GOOD CARE OF OUR DOG BALTO. THEY ALSO INFORMED US WITH INFORMATION THAT WE WOULD KNOW FOR NEXT TIME FOR US TO REMEMBER IF WE COME ACROSS ANY OTHER COMPANY I WOULD STILL PUT THEM ABOVE ANY OTHER COMPANY. HAD MUCH LOVE FOR ACTUALLY DOING THE BEST FOR OUR BALTO.
