Oxford Animal Hospital, A Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner

Ginger had a wonderful boarding stay at Oxford. She’s always been an outside cat so we were concerned about how it would go. But the staff was wonderful and she was comfortable immediately. It couldn’t have gone better. She wasn’t at all anxious during her exam. The room had diffusers, a heated pad and blanket for her!  (Our previous vet care was limited to a mobile vet spaying her 8 years ago and the occasional rabies shot.) As far as services are concerned, I was given estimates before doing procedures, and they were explained well — why they were recommended, what was involved, and what I should expect afterwards. For a cat that never even had her nails trimmed, those details were appreciated. At her age Ginger is likely to need regular care, and we want to board her where she’s safe and comfortable when we have to be out of town. Really happy to have found Oxford. And happy to recommend it to others looking for best-practice vet care for their pets.

We board our dog and use the doggie daycare at Oxford. The staff go above and beyond to care for our dog. He is so excited to go! The staff at the front desk have always been friendly and helpful. The vets make sure our dog is up to date on vaccines and do excellent care.

Our rescued one year old is afraid of everything! She sticks to us like glue. But because of the way she is treated at Oxford Animal Hospital every time we go in (4 x’s) by each and every employee she is happy to trot on back for her appointment without giving a thought of leaving us! We are so grateful!

Nori our 16 month old lab receives excellent care with Dr Gaugb. She reviews treatment options withs well as cost. She is very compassionate and thorough in providing care. Her staff including Mikayla and Austin are great! Always greet Nori with excitement!

It was our first visit to the clinic. We have recently moved to the KC area and Oxford is part of the Thrive network that we belong to for pet care. The staff was welcoming and friendly to our dogs. Dr Gaugh was very thorough with her exam and gave us short and long term options for Millie’s ear infection. She also too the time to answer other non- related questions. Michaela, the vet tech was wonderful, friendly and gentle while getting samples from our pups are ears. I would definitely recommend Oxford.

We absolutely love Oxford Animal Hospital! We have been clients there for 15 years. Everyone is so kind and loving with our current pup, Rosie. We use them for her healthcare, daycare, boarding and nail trims. We have always been so happy with their care and we can trust that she is always taken care of. We love everyone there and so does Rosie. We love that she formed a special bond with Sarah who takes great care of her! Would highly recommend them!

Oxford Animal Hospital is the best in the area by far. Their staff is kind and knowledgeable, and the Veterinarians are compassionate and thorough. I went to high school with one of the Vets here and wouldn’t trust anyone else with the care of my dog. They take pet insurance and offer care credit payment plans. Highly recommend Oxford for standard care, emergency care, and boarding.
