Metcalf 107 Animal Clinic

I have a rescue dog that was not socialized at all as a pup and two chihuahua mix rescue dogs that can be a bit ferocious and naughty. They aren’t terrible but they don’t handle the unexpected very well. Most vets would make me feel bad when I brought them in but Dr Hardin, Dana, and Brian never made me feel bad about their automatic distrust. They just helped me handle them the best we could and always took great care of my dogs. I’ve also felt very comfortable boarding them here and knowing everyone knows how to approach my dogs appropriately, given their history.

We’ve been bringing our 5 lb Yorkie, Ducky DeLorean, here for both veterinary care and monthly grooming, and we couldn’t be happier. The team is incredibly gentle and thorough with small breeds. They take extra time to explain everything (dental health) and Ducky loves when we pull into the parking lot! Highly recommend!

I have 2 cats I went in to get a routine check-up at flea&tick prevention. Not only was the doctor misogynistic and dismissed me to my boyfriend, he would not focus. Firstly, tried to gauge my intelligence from a handshake along with the incredulously demeaning comments made to me. Secondly, the cats are mine and have been since before my boyfriend and I got together. Thirdly, the doctor just rambles about things fully unrelated to the treatment of your pet. I heard all about his life; siblings, dead mom, vacations, college accolades, etc. Not only did this appointment take about 45 mins for my two cats to get 3 shots, the doctor did not take my concerns seriously. My cat still has stomach problems that have been consistent for months, and the doc told me I feed them too much and to start "feed to a number" whatever that means. So I feed them less, and the issues worsen. Even STILL when I got home I realized the one thing I had asked for was not given to them: Flea and Tick Prevention! I will not be returning to this clinic and it is completely unprofessional to speak with pet parents the way he did, dismiss me and my concerns, and to fail to provide treatment. Then to ask $300. Never returning.

The vet is okay but his staff are mediocre and borderline stereotypical thus, you'll deal with the snotty secretary at the front desk who thinks she knows more than u on a constant daily basis. My dog had an emergency and didn't hear back from them until a day later and didn't ask how he was doing. They treat pets like numbers and don't show any true care for any of them. Be very careful as they like to take your pets away from you and they don't like you to watch when they're doing things as simple as just taking your dog's weight. I've been coming here for a few years now and they have not recognized me or one of my dogs not ONCE!

Great group of people that are willing to go the extra mile to make sure your pet is taken care of!

Howie, my cat passed away and Metcalf 107 Animal took care, both me and my cat. This was not his usual vet, but they were caring and respectful. I highly recommend!

Dr. Hardin is very knowledgeable and very caring. He made me and my dog comfortable on his first visit. The assistant is very approachable. I had a bad experienced at petco with their grooming but Brian removed all our doubts that he could make my poodle looked so cute and clean even the price is really very cheap than any grooming place we've ever been. He exceeded my expectations.
