Jack London Pet Hospital

Everyone is so nice here. I'm so glad OAS recommended Jack London to me. The treatment my dog and I have gotten has been stellar. I have paid a bit more here compared to other vets but the price matches the service. I rather pay more and make sure my pet is well taken care of and be treated nicely.

This vet has an amazing facilities and staff, but their communication needs improvement. They always say they will send follow up emails summarizingmy visit, but routinely 'forget. I have to call them and beg them to send me a follow up. My cat had a UTI and they didn't tell me until one week after they had received the results. They received the results but then didn't reach out to me. I called them after it seemed like they were taking too long, and that's when they told me about my cat's UTI. I took my cat another time and they said he was fine, only for his symptoms to get worse and now it turns out he has a kidney infection. I've been trying to talk to a doctor all morning but they don't have any doctors available. I'm trying to get my cat some antibiotics, but they can't even let me know when the antibiotics will be ready. But they did reach out to me to ask for more money for further tests. It seems like they have no problem communicating when they need more money for more tests. Their facilities and services are GREAT. They've ultimately treated my cat every time. But it's incredibly frustrating that I have to follow up on everything, instead of them reaching out to me. Their lack of communication has caused me cat unnecessary amounts of pain before, and I'm worried they will make the same mistake again

Everyone we've met at Jack London Pet Hospital has wonderful bedside manner. We brought our very nervous kitty in for an exam. Within a minute of our appointment time, we were being walked into an exam room. We noticed our cat was calmer then any previous vet visit and we were told that they use pheromones to calm cats down. Every person we met was gentle and friendly. They took the time to explain to us everything they were doing. Dr. Kouch is just an angel. Vet visits are obviously challenging for any animal, but they make it as easy as possible. This is where we'll be taking all of our cats from now on.

Everyone I interacted with at Jack London Pet Hospital was so warm, kind, and helpful, from the person at the front desk to the vet techs to the doctors. While I had no issue with my last vet's office, it always felt cold and clinical and I never felt like they developed any kind of relationship with my pet. After one visit to Jack London Pet Hospital, that already feels very different. I fully intend to continue my dog's care here, and I have already recommended you all to a friend. Thank you!

My vet-hating dog whose medical files from vets across the country include notes like "WILL BITE" just cuddled up to Dr. Kouch and let his foot be (lightly) examined, totally sober and with no muzzle. I’m in amazement and so glad that I had decided a bit out of the blue to switch to this practice right before he had a health scare that required a bunch of appointments. The care is better and the price more affordable than my last place, and in addition everyone at the office was incredibly kind and communicative during a time where I was kind of freaking out and very worried. I recommend SO highly!

We’ve been to Jack London Pet Hospital twice. The first time was an urgent care visit with one of our dogs for an injured paw. Dr. Kouch did a superb job assessing and treating the paw, which healed quickly after having been rather sloppily treated by our previous vet. We decided then to switch our veterinary care to Jack London, and we are very glad we did. Our second experience at Jack London was last week when we brought both of our dogs in for wellness checks and vaccinations. We saw Dr. Kouch again, and were impressed once again by her professionalism, competence, approachability, and kindness. In addition to the high quality care, we were impressed by the cleanliness, design, and friendliness of the facility, and by the warmth and competence evident in every member of the staff. It’s a great relief to feel that we can rely on our veterinarians and the entire staff to provide the top-notch care our pets deserve.

Baby girl got the last puppacino for the moment because she’s getting put on a diet after this wellness visit and vaccination appointment. Especially with parvo on the rise, we are super grateful for the easy appointment process online and the great service when it was time to reschedule!
