Dear Banfield On Tuesday, February 2, 2026, I took Mia for a dental cleaning and physical exam, which I left her in good hands trusting that you are professionals. I was told by the receptionist that the pickup time was 2 pm, and I asked my sister to pick her up and take her home. When I got home from work at 6 pm, I noticed something was off. They had shaved her back and tail area, leaving her looking horrible. Mia is 3 years old and has never been groomed because her fur is special and only a professional can do it without damaging it. I called the next morning to ask what happened, as I was furious that they would do this, especially since they didn't have to. The receptionist just said it wasn't done here. I asked to speak to the manager, and she called me back, saying sorry, but the frustration and helplessness I feel seeing what they've done to her beautiful coat is overwhelming. I will like to speak to someone who can help me to resolve this problem.

Great experience from beginning to end! The women at the desk were welcoming and nice! Jackie the vet tech was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. The see me on time and made time for questions! Our chihuahua mix was well treated and is on their optimal wellness plan which is a great preventative care option! Highly recommend! AND, the practice is ALL WOMEN, at least for the moment and I loved the caring energy from them all! Nico was happy! Thank you!

Banfield Pet Hospital is one of the most amazing veterinary clinics I have ever been to! The staff up front was kind and so welcoming! Adriana, located at the front desk, was sweet as can be and beyond patient with my family's needs and the doctor, Maria Smeriglio, was just a phenomenal bright light through an otherwise scary time. She was genuine, happy, and made the experience much less questionable and foreboding. She helped to ease my worries and made sure that I felt confident in the care my beloved fur baby was receiving. Not only is the staff super friendly and the establishment clean and tidy, but it is clear that their main focus is on the animals care, not to price gouge those who are already struggling. I have never come across such a caring facility in all my life and can not wait to bring my other feline to them for her next annual exam. Thank you Banfield Pet Hospital!!!!!

This place is horrible....I had the wellness plan for my dog and I called to see if they can see her she eoke uo paralized one day she was 11 years old....they told me to come in and when I got there my dog started having hard time breathing when they saw me coming...nobody helped me or opened the door my dog was heavy and obviously I had hard time holding her....once I made it inside they literally saw my dog and told me the can't take care of her and to go to the emergency room.....I was literally crying screaming for help because I knew once I leave there my dog won't be able to make it....they did not care a bit and did nothing....I'm supposed to be paying for her plan and this place supposed to be a freaking hospital how is it possible they don't have equipment ready for occasions like this? They gave me an address and by the time I got there my dog was already gone....I'm so mad...I failed my dog....thanks Banfield!!!!

Unfortunately twice I had to have a pet euthanized in the last 3 years, and both times the staff was AMAZING. So caring and respectful. I got to say goodbye in a loving way. I’ve been using them for my pets care for several years. Dr. Underthal is just great. Staff is polite, friendly and helpful. I would recommend the Norwalk location for sure. I would NEVER recommend Stamford location…ever.

I love Bandfield from the front desk staff to the doctors that take care of my baby Milo. Effective communication about my dog’s care, what they did, suggestions for his care and affordable care and peace of mind when it comes to have my baby healthy and up to date with his vaccinations.
