Our poor cat picked up a random virus in the fields and was on deaths doorstep at the start of this month. Southwest Vet has been incredible and literally took him from death’s door step, back to life within 3 weeks. They didn’t price gouge. They didn’t over treat. They did the things necessary to keep him going! He may have used up all his nine lives on this one, but he will live to see another day. Just wanted to add, other vets were giving me prices over the phone and telling me my cat was going to die based on the symptoms I told them. Southwest Vet did nothing like this. They got me in same day, were very honest, and treated him very fairly. Thankful to have such a good vet now!

I'm still a little emotional from the amazing experience I had when I took my cat, Kiki, to Southwest Veterinary hospital yesterday for her annual shots. From the moment we walked through the door we were welcomed by an amazing front desk staff, including Cindy, who I think just might have become my new best friend, LOL. They were friendly, engaging, and made us feel important from the moment we walked in the door Dr Stewart and Ashland where everything I had hoped for and more. They spent the first few minutes speaking calmly and petting Kiki to get her comfortable. Typically, I have the vet take Kiki into another room to administer injections, etc, but they had both Kiki and I so calm that neither of us even noticed that Dr Stewart had already administered her shots! And icing on the cake... The bill was very reasonable. A lot less than I would have paid at the veterinary clinic that I have been taking Kiki for the last 4 years. I'm so glad I decided to take my friends suggestion and switch to Southwest Veterinary hospital. I will never take Kiki anywhere else.

Extremely reasonably priced! The staff and Vet were amazing! My fur babies needed dental work but every place I went quote me an astronomical price. I was embarrassed how bad their teeth were and Dr. Cline was so understanding. I paid significantly less for both my babies than I was quoted for one of them some where else.

I love Dr Caleb and the staff. I won't take my animals anywhere else. He was so nice and explained everything.

My dog Nick has had difficulty with going to the vet and getting vet care done for the last year or so. To the point that he has had to be sedated for nail trims. I have switched his care over to Southwest Vet because they do things differently here. And he is definitely more comfortable with the vets and the staff. Today, he got his nails trimmed without sedation, just meds beforehand to calm him a little bit ❤️ I can't put a price tag on that! Thank you so much from both of us for what you do and how you do it! We are both happy!

My husband and I are new to Oklahoma and our 1.5 year old husky puppy got sick we brought him here and dr. Caleb's first instinct was euthanasia and he assumed we wouldn't be able to pay by stating "if you guys had been customers for years we could work out a payment plan but since I don't know you I can't do that" just because we look young and he assumed we wouldn't pay Imao. We insisted on an xray because we went in for a possible obstruction, when xray was done dr couldn't diagnose anything and said there was a lot of gas in his stomach because we couldn't see anything in his stomach on the xray. Granted our pup was in rough shape throwing up and not pooping we wanted to save him but could tell it wouldn't be possible unless we had money. Don't let the fake reviews fool you no payment plans available unless you've gone for years. Or you get care credit. Also to add I found this on Reddit while looking into kennel cough… my dog could’ve been saved, it’s just the drs lack of care and only seeing our beloved animals as a money sign.

I want to share my deepest gratitude for the team at Southwest Veterinary Clinic. After seventeen years with my dog Princess, I knew the day would eventually come when I would have to make the hardest decision a pet owner can make. I spent months preparing myself, and even then it was something I could only face when I absolutely had to do right by her. Last year I spoke with Jackie in the office, and she was incredibly kind and patient. She walked me through pricing and what to expect, and she did it with a gentleness that stayed with me. When the day finally came, I showed up without an appointment because I knew I needed to give Princess a peaceful and dignified passing. The staff immediately understood the weight of the moment. They moved with quiet urgency and compassion and got us into a room right away. The entire process was handled with such care that it felt as beautiful as something this heartbreaking could possibly be. They treated Princess like someone who mattered. They treated me like someone who was doing their best to honor a long and meaningful relationship. They even made a written agreement to hold her for private cremation until I could take care of the fee, which is an act of compassion I will never forget. Seventeen years is a lifetime of memories, routines, and love. Southwest Veterinary Clinic helped me give Princess the peaceful goodbye she deserved. Their kindness, professionalism, and humanity made an unbearable moment bearable. I am profoundly grateful for the way they showed up for us. I recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone who wants their pets cared for by people who truly understand what these animals mean to us.
