I don’t have enough words for how grateful I am for the team at Nashville Veterinary Specialists + Animal Emergency. We’ve now been here a couple of times with my girl Luna, and every single visit has reminded me why this place is truly special. Our most recent visit, Dr. Clark was absolutely incredible. Luna is my whole heart, and walking in scared and worried is one of the hardest feelings but Dr. Clark met us with such calm, reassuring energy. She took the time to ease my anxiety while making sure Luna was comfortable and well cared for. The team went above and beyond to get Luna extra medication to help manage her pain, and that level of attentiveness means everything to a pet parent who just wants her baby to feel better. What I want people to know is that they took care of both of us. Luna got exceptional medical care, and I, a worried, emotional mess, was treated with patience, kindness, and genuine compassion. That’s rare, and it doesn’t go unnoticed. If your fur baby needs emergency or specialist care in Nashville, please don’t hesitate. Bring them here. You will be in the best hands. My girl is home and resting a little easier now.

Dr Owens was wonderful to Mei Mei. He really showed he cares for her and about how I understand things about her. Everyone was extremely nice and made me very comfortable. The lady that checked us in was super sweet and understanding. I live in Tuscaloosa Alabama and it was worth the drive to make sure Mei Mei was ok with her heart. I loved this place. Extremely clean. I could go on and on about how good this place is. We love Dr Owens.

I can’t begin to say how grateful I am for the staff at the Nashville Veterinary Specialists, from the front desk staff that greeted us, to the vet tech who took down our pets information and especially for Dr. J. Vancil. Dr. Vancil actually took the time to explain everything and ensured we understood. Dr. Vancil focused on doing the right tests versus the guessing game we’ve seen previously which cost us a lot of money, a lot of time and gave us nothing in return. From our first meeting Dr. Vancil, made us feel as if we were his only patients that day, and walked us through the possibilities in an honest manner. We have a LOT of fur babies and have had our share of veterinary experiences, so speaking from lots of experience, I can honestly say that Dr. Vancil and the staff at the Nashville Veterinary Specialists has by far given us the best experience we’ve ever had. Only a veterinarian that loves a challenge can take on a patient who can’t tell you where they hurt or how they feel. We still don’t know the outcome for our baby, Juni B, but I can say for fact that I wouldn’t hesitate to bring all of my fur babies to this clinic. Fantastic experience.

Once again, you have saved JuJu's life. Thank you for taking exceptional care of her and for loving on her. She's healing great after having urgent emergency bladder surgery to remove bladder stones that were lodged in her urethra. Her bladder was also full of them and could have burst. We can't thank you enough! You also performed back surgery on her in 2018. I will always bring my pets here for emergencies. They ate professional and have the most dedicated and caring staff members.

I have been here more than once and every time they put my fur babies as their main concern, they love our babies like we do. And they fixed my Curley Jane , shes in heart failure they put iv medicine in her , I had a choice to leave her or bring her home, I brought her home with medicine and shes like a new dog. They know what they are doing and they are good at it. I recommend in any emergency with your baby bring them here.

My 12 yr old Golden-doodle has Lymphoma. I took him to the Oncology team at Nashville Veterinary Specialists. He has seen both oncology doctors as they cover for each other. This is a very caring and detail oriented team. Their techs are experts at caring for the fur babies seen there. I would recommend this group for any specialist your pet needs to see. The care is World Class, and the facilities state of the art. We all want the best for our pets and I will continue to obtain care for mine here.

I rushed my cat Harley with a urethral obstruction. The staff was very kind and compassionate. They thoroughly explained everything and gave me peace of mind knowing my boy was in good hands.
