Belmont Animal Hospital

I have been a Belmont Animal Hospital "patient" since Zsa Zsa came into my life in March 2011... Dr Edie and Dr Sewell took care of us for many years, and Dr Nelson helped us through Zsa's final months... I am so lucky to have Dr Nelson and the whole BAH team with "Stillwater's Zelda 'Za Za' FitzGerald" (she's fancy!) and me for all of our puppy adventures and milestones and for many years to come! You all are the best!!!

This was my first visit to Belmont Animal Clinic, and I couldn’t be more impressed. I have a 6.5-year-old Goldendoodle with a complex health history, and Dr. Nelson took the time to thoroughly review her records before our appointment. She was incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, and thorough throughout the visit. The veterinary technicians were also kind, caring, and compassionate. Thank you to Dr. Nelson and the entire Belmont Animal Clinic staff for providing such exceptional care. I truly appreciate the time, expertise, and compassion you showed my dog and me.

One of my dogs was having an issue that really concerned me and I contacted my current, now former veterinary office and was told "just keep an eye on him." I was worried so I contacted a trusted friend who is a veterinarian in another city and she said that in her opinion, he needed to be seen. I called Belmont and they could not have been nicer. They got all the information, got us in and took care of him. The atmosphere was so much nicer than I was used to. From the front desk to the vet techs to the doctor, they were all welcoming and friendly, as well as very professional. I felt really good about the care my pet received and I am now a client for good! We were seen immediately upon arriving and the exam, tests, and care were done in a very orderly and short fashion. They also answered all my questions, followed up the next day and recommended food and heart worm/flea medication after I enquired. I highly recommend Belmont Animal Hospital to anyone who cares about their pets!

Dr Nelson is the best. My dog Houston loves her so much that he gets excited when I ask if he wants to go see her. She has gone above and beyond since we started seeing her.

My cat Mo and I were very anxious about going to the vet's, but it turned out to be a great experience, thanks to the thoughtful and caring staff! We were shown into a room immediately (away from some alarming dog), and the nurse and doctor came quickly thereafter. There was a minimum of waiting and the doctor explained everything carefully. We got the best possible care.

I got home a short time ago from one of the worst days of my life and I am posting this now because it is on my heart to do it. I took my 16 year old dog to the hospital because he was in distress. He was taken back and evaluated immediately while I provided a little information, went to a room, and talked to the tech and the vet in quick succession. Everyone worked quickly, spoke through options, and had the courage to have a tough conversation with me, ultimately non-judgmentally allowing me to do what I knew was necessary. They compassionately walked myself and my best friend through to the end, lovingly prepared him for us to take home, and offered us keepsakes in addition to the memories that we will carry forever. Thank you for making a difficult day easier.

I have been using Belmont Animal Hospital as my primary vet for over two years for both of my dogs. They are the best and always able to help. Today we used the urgent care services which was such a huge help given I work full time during the week. All of the staff was helpful and cared so much for my pup and his minor procedure went great.
