Dog and Cat Dermatology

Took my dog who has been scratching her jaws a lot. It seems to really bother her. I was surprised there is such specialty and close to where we live. The staff and Dr Hudec are all wonderful and patient. Very professional in all aspects from the patient care to billing to discharge instructions. The treatment plan is working. Thanks.

Thankful for this amazing pet dermatology office in Mountain View! Dr. Hudec has been a life saver for Apollos skin. It took a lot of trial and error but we are finally on a way better path then when we first started! Dr. Hudec is so kind and Apollo is a big loud dog(138lb mastiff), but doctor is not phased by him! He is so caring about all animals that he sees. Not to mention the staff is also so amazing and so friendly! Apollo did so well with them and they just cuddled him and made him feel loved and secure. Thank you Tina, Tisha and Ashley for being so welcoming. It really made all the difference having such welcoming staff. You guys are amazing! Pollo is already doing much better.

Great new animal dermatologist in mountain view. The staff was friendly and helpful with our dog bandit. Dr Hudec gave excellent care to treat bandit's new autoimmune skin condition. We're big fans!

If I could give more stars I would! I don't think I've ever received such top quality care for my dog as I did at Dog & Cat Dermatology. Every single person from the front desk to the doctors were kind, patient, and treated my sweet boy with love and respect. He sadly passed away and I just received the most heart warming hand written letter from every single staff member in the office. This warmed my heart more than I can express in words! If your animal needs this type of care, I could not recommend them more!

Dr. Chris was incredibly helpful and very generous with his time and energy, very common patient, the office was very professional. Would highly recommend! We were referred here by iron horse vet care in Dublin, they were able to get us in way sooner than anyone else and were reasonable about their scheduling policies. They were fabulous to work with and we were very touched by their kindness and positive recommendations. They were not trying to just get money out of us They were actually concerned about our pet and tried to help us get the best care possible even if it was with another doctor or at a different time. It is very rare to see veterinarians who are this honest and open and helpful, you can tell that they are very passionate about what they do and it comes through. We are super grateful and sending big hugs to the team!

Just outstanding. Brought our dog here with a skin allergy that had become infected and was a huge mess. Our regular vet had not helped. Poor dog had a lot going on, including allergy to topical meds. Dr. Hudec worked though all these and some other benign skin tumors, dog is doing great. All the staff are wonderful.

After 8 months of getting absolutely nowhere with my dog’s ‘red spot’ despite being under the care of another dermatologist, my regular vet suggested I try switching specialist clinics and referred me to Dog and Cat Dermatology. What an incredible experience! I am beyond thankful to my regular vet for suggesting Dr. Hudec! He and his staff have been absolutely amazing, understanding, kind, compassionate and supportive. A totally relaxed / laid back environment that made me happy to come back weekly for treatments, my dog also loves this clinic and all the staff there! My dog’s leg is completely healed now. The team was upfront about all costs and Dr Hudec gave me multiple pathways forward and let me choose what I was comfortable with, he was also very understanding when I got anxious about a medication for my sensitive dog and was completely fine with me switching. Very good communication for a busy specialist clinic, they never left me waiting. Dr. Hudec called often to check in on progress and let me know as soon as test results had come back. Highly, highly, highly recommend Dr. Hudec and his team. The only negative? I have no reason to go back and see Dr. Hudec and his amazing team - I wish it was a regular veterinary clinic because I would be coming back here for every single one of my pet’s needs!
