Dr. Rousch and Riley took great care of my cat. They were also personable to me. Lavitt Animal Hospital is our go-to vet.

I came to this clinic to ask about prescriptions for dogs in Ghana. The front desk staff was kind and helpful, and to my surprise, the veterinarian himself came out to speak with me, even though he didn’t have to. He took the time to clearly explain the legal aspects, the limitations, and where I could realistically look for help to do things the right and safe way. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and professional. You can truly tell he cares. Not only about his patients, but also about people trying to help animals. I deeply appreciate the time, honesty, and compassion. Highly recommend this clinic.

Lavitt animal hospital treated my husband’s family dogs since they were puppies and they always received excellent care. It is a small place, which was perfect for our anxious dog Chip, especially as he got old, blind and hard of hearing. It was nice knowing he’d see the same staff every time. The receptionist Cheryl is delightful, Riley is great and you can tell she loves animals. When it came time to let our sweet 16 year old Chippy boy down, Dr. Roush provided such a smooth and peaceful euthanasia procedure. My husband and I were obviously dreading it, but we couldn’t believe how comfortable and at peace we were afterwards. It was quick and painless, and Chip was at ease which was an extreme relief. Dr. Roush and Riley treated Chip with great care, and were gentle with us and made sure we knew everything that was going on. It honestly made the entire day so much easier and we are forever grateful for how beautiful our last moments with Chip were. Thank you Lavitt staff for years of excellent service. I recommend anyone to trust them with your fur babies.

Single best vet experience I’ve had in my life. Very caring and thorough very informative about the issues I had with my dog, asked a lot of questions and even provided some literature to assist in recovery.
