Dr. Marlie Johnson has been our veterinarian for years. She is professional, compassionate, knowledgeable and thorough. Our dogs absolutely adore her. We highly recommend Dr. Johnson!
Wonderful staff. They tookvery good care of my Happy Henny when I brought him there for neutering. Will go there for as long as I live in Missoula.
We have taken our past four dogs there. We went there when Sandy started the clinic. She was the best. They have new vets there now we were concerned about losing Sandy but we have been very happy with the care taken of our current dogs. We always recommend Ancare to people who ask us where to go. Probably can't be a better recommendation than that.
Dr. Marlie Johnson is amazing! She has been our dog's veterinarian for several years and we couldn't be happier with her care. Dr. Johnson is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and patient. She always takes the time to explain everything thoroughly and answer any questions we have.
I took my little pup here. She had some pretty bad GI problems . . .then about a day into this her back right leg went lame. I took here in to Ancare (and this is why they get two instead of one). The staff was kind and made the same day appointment - no complaints with their behavior. When the appointment came the doc told me that she evaluated the x-rays and no broken bones. She thought it was ACL tear. Got some pain meds. Soo.. a day passes and she goes lame in both hind legs. Obviously not an ACL tear. Then, another day and she is recovering. That is good . . .but all I really know is that she doesn't have any broken bones. The receptionist calls the next day for a follow-up. And here is why the poor rating. I say, "well she is feeling better; however, I don't think she has a torn ACL". I told her the above about both legs going lame. She said, "I'll relay this to the doctor" or something to that effect . . . Never heard another word. My pup is feeling and acting better; however, she has a little "hop" in her step sometimes. Maybe something, maybe not, but I'd prefer next time I need to drop several hundred on a vet visit that I go to one that has a desire to find out and follow-up adequately.
We've been really pleased with our experience at Ancare these past years! We took all four of our animals there and found the providers to be helpful and knowledgeable and willing to meet needs for both health and budget. Definitely recommend!
I LOVE the vets and staff at this clinic. We put one of dogs down here and they went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable outside when we did it. The main issue we have with them is the front desk person Dione. She is atrocious. She always has an attitude for no reason. When I had a couple of questions she encouraged me to search for help at another vet instead of providing any assistance. Shes makes it really hard to want to continue going to Ancare.
