Staff was very sweet and loving to our little Bella. They checked her out for an eye infection and were able to provide a swift next day appointment and provided quick care. We will be back for a follow-up soon. <3

I have been bringing my chihuahua rescues to Smiling Pets for several years. They are changing their name to Pets and Vets now and new ownership. Dr. Javier is a caring, pleasant, and knowledgeable veterinarian. He handles dogs with ease, and they feel comfortable with him. He is bilingual, speaking Spanish and English. He gives a discount on his bill if you have a rescue, which I think is a super good thing to do. Aurora is at the front desk and keeps the office running smoothly. She is a very nice and friendly person. If you have questions, she has the answers. The office is kept clean and well organized. I highly recommend this animal clinic.

💙🐾I don’t have enough words to express how grateful I am to this veterinary clinic and to the entire medical team. They are outstanding professionals, extremely knowledgeable, and incredibly compassionate. They truly treat every dog as if it were their own. My dog Lukitas arrived in very, very poor health, in a truly critical condition, and thanks to them he is now recovering and moving forward. They have all the necessary equipment to perform comprehensive exams, tests, and accurate diagnoses, which brings so much peace of mind during such a difficult time. This is the only place where I would trust my fur baby, my "dog son," with complete confidence. The team led by Javier and Javier is absolutely fantastic, and what truly sets them apart is that they even provide home follow-up care, which makes all the difference. I will be forever thankful for their professionalism, dedication, and genuine love for animals.

I love the vet that owns this facility and most of the workers are great. However, Aurora has always had a very negative attitude and it lowers their overall rating as she is one of the people that answers the phone and deals with clients directly. She is very rude and does not care how she speaks to clients and that is unacceptable.

Dr. Javier Andreu is a fantastic vet. He listens attentively and has the kind of vast training and experience which allows him to get at the heart of a medical issue quickly and effectively. I’ve taken my dog to him many times with a variety of issues and questions, and his care of her has been fantastic . I highly recommend him. One caution -if at all feasible, see him at his Miami Beach office and not his Biscayne Blvd office. The staff at Miami Beach provides excellent service but Aurora at the Biscayne blvd office is incompetent and easily overwhelmed -which on more than one occasion resulted in needless delay in Dr Javier’s ability to see my and others’ pets. she is inefficient and when it’s obvious she’s not up to a task at hand, becomes rude. This takes nothing away from Dr. Javier’s excellence -he is excellent -but Aurora’s ineptness limits his ability at the Biscayne office to see patients promptly and efficiently. If you have to be seen at the Biscayne office -be prepared to be frustrated.

Absolutly wonderful people..we had to put down our 20 year cat.they made everything simple and had so much compassion for the situation. they were so kind + they charged half the price of other vets in the area..thanks again

I love this Vet. I have been going for several years now and the staff and doctor are wonderfully caring and equally knowledgeable. I recently needed travel documents to Europe for my dog and Aurora is a miracle worker - She is extremely thorough and attentive to the paperwork, She really made me feel confident I would get the certificate in time from the USDA-Which I did. I am grateful we still have great veterinary care here in Miami.
