We took our cat to Island Cats for the last 6 years of her life and we’re so happy with the care she received here. Throughout the years the entire team was always knowledgeable, empathetic, and communicative. They are prompt with email, text, and phone calls. I never had trouble getting ahold of anyone. They helped to ensure Cat was as healthy as she could be in her old age and were creative with finding solutions to help her. We met with all of the vets at some point but predominantly met with Dr. Simmons. She was with us til the end and made that last visit a comforting environment to say good bye to our beloved Cat. We are truly grateful to her and the whole staff for all they did for our Cat and for us.

My wife and I were having a hard time finding a vet we trusted with our senior cat, until we found Island Cats. We drove from Kent to see them. The staff are amazing and very communicative and caring. Although the news we received about our boy wasn't good, we appreciated the the honesty and care that we/he received. Thank you Island Cats staff for taking such good care of our boy and providing us with the information we needed to take care of him in his final days. When we are healed enough to get a new baby we will definitely be returning.

One of the best cat primary care clinics I’ve experienced in the greater Seattle area. Island Cats truly stands out for their professionalism, compassion, and deep understanding of feline health. Dr. Hargett is exceptional. Her level of care, medical knowledge, and attention to detail give me complete confidence every time we visit. She takes the time to explain everything clearly and always makes sure my cat is comfortable and well cared for. I highly recommend Island Cats to any cat parent looking for knowledgeable, compassionate, and dedicated feline care.

Everyone there is super polite, knowledgeable, and friendly. My cats are a nightmare to take out of the house, but they always seem to calm down there so it’s been a pleasure taking them on their annual outings to the vet. It’s wonderful finding a place that specializes in all things cats so I feel like my pets are very well taken care of.

I visited island cats a few weeks ago for an unfortunate circumstances and needed euthanasia and cremation services for my 15yr old cat Riley. Island Cats Veterinary staff were all extremely compassionate towards Riley and I and really made me feel at peace with the decision. I was able to spend our last moments together and help him cross over the rainbow bridge peacefully and pain-free. They all were patient, caring, and understanding of the situation and gave us all the time we needed before our goodbye, and helped with selecting cremation services. Libby, Kate, Lindsey, and the Dr were all Outstanding and really went above and beyond in caring for Riley. And I appreciate everything they did. Island Cats Vet is the most customer and pet oriented animal hospital we have visited. Bill (the cat), convinced me he needed to see the doctor and Island Cats fit him in right away. All the staff were great to work with including the front desk, the technician, and the doctor. The whole process is automated online and efficient. They were highly recommended and I see why.

Attention cat owners—go to Island Cat! 🐾 I used to take my cat to a regular vet near my house for a couple of years. I brought my cat for his annual check-ups and vaccines, but on one visit they didn’t check anything. Later, I found out he had gingivitis, and by then it was already too late. Island Cat was a lifesaver! They got him in right away and scheduled surgery within a couple of days. The staff kept me updated the whole time, letting me know how he was doing during and after surgery. Dr. Cassidy and the team are amazing—they took such great care of him and even followed up a week later to check in on his recovery. I couldn’t be more grateful. Highly recommend Island Cat to anyone with a kitty!
