Thrive Pet Healthcare Medford

We love all of the doctors at Thrive Pet Healthcare in Medford! Our four cats are patients there, and the staff has been providing excellent and empathetic care for them. The technicians and the doctors are all friendly, caring, and make each appointment a pleasant one. We've had no problem getting appointments, and we're so grateful for their expertise and kindness.

I recently brought my dog in to have his paw examined for possible arthritis. Dr. Howard and the veterinary assistant could not have been kinder. The diagnosis and treatment options were clearly explained and I left feeling like my dog was on a good path to getting relief from his pain. The staff were very helpful and courteous for the entire visit.

Brought our pet in as a patient for a check up and we were met with judgmental remarks and condescending tones from the staff attending us. There was a lack of sensitivity and care around the pet’s background, making us feel reluctant to return again. Imagine our surprise by that first impression. Additionally, prices for dosages were heavily overpriced compared to other animal clinics. Do not prioritize this place if you are seeking an affordable alternative for pet care. For a place that should feel centered around animals and their needs- we felt as if our pet’s needs were disregarded heavily and that we were being looked down upon for even bringing our pet in while going through a challenging time. Maybe lead with empathy and compassion during client interactions.

Morgan , Heather , Dr Pino and all the Veterinarian Doctors and staff are so Professional , knowledgeable, helpful , kind and amazing !! I would recommend anyone to bring their pets here to their office ….❤️😊

Overpriced. I was not informed on the itemized cost of drugs for my dog at checkout. I thought the high cost was due to the services - Received the email 5 minutes after I left the building and immediately called back asking for a refund because the prevention medications were too expensive but was refused. And they weren't being nice about it. If I knew how much they cost I would not buy it from them. Never coming back here!

Poor Teva from the island of Anguilla went in for her spay today. Yes COVID makes everything more difficult, but they were so helpful and my puppy is recovering nicely. Do not read bad reviews we all have our own experiences with vets. Every pets needs are different. They did right by me and my baby's spay today. They gave complete instructions and explained it and gave me pain pills for her comfort. Dr. Trzcinski was great! Their staff is great!

Out of nowhere our 10 year old dog started to slow down. We started to fear the worst and wanted to get him checked to be sure we understood what was causing this. I called first thing on a Friday morning and Meaghan was able to get us a 9:30am appointment the same day with Dr. Howard. Dr. Howard was kind and thorough during the exam. We left expecting to hear updates after the weekend. Dr. Howard provided a quick update over the weekend which relieved our anxieties. Following the weekend I still had a few questions that were quickly answered. We have been going to the practice for ten years and had some bumps when it transitioned from Dr. Looby to Throve but it seems as though they really have figured it out. We are grateful for their quick attention to our dog’s needs and feel confident that when things arise in the future we will be in good hands with Dr. Howard, Dr. Trzcinski & the team.
