Truesdell Animal Care Hospital & Clinic

Truesdell has taken care of my pets for over 10 years. I have had to put two of my babies down over the years and the care and compassion they offered us was so wonderful. I recently adopted 2 new cats and took them in for shots. They were very nervous but Dr. Hafey and Meghan H were so patient and kind -even when they jumped on top of a very tall cabinet. I am so grateful that I have a vet's office I can trust. I have now adopted a 3rd cat and am bringing them in all together. While this can be stressful I know we are in good hands with the staff. Paige was so helpful at the desk, too. I originally started taking my cats to them because of their AAHA Accreditation. Keep up the great work!

Excellent experience every time. The staff is very kind, and the care they provide to pets is truly dedicated. I really appreciate that you can stay with your pet during the visit and they are not left in a cage all day for a simple check-up like at some other places. That means a lot to us. Highly recommend!

Truesdell always takes the best care of our pets! This week our cat wasn’t acting like himself, and they were so gentle, thorough, and reassuring. They walked us through multiple options and helped us choose what was best for him. While veterinary care can be expensive, we truly feel we’re paying for the high-quality, compassionate care our pets receive. We’re grateful to have a clinic we can trust during stressful moments.

Truesdell has been great for not just me but other members of my family as well. My first experience with them was putting our family cat to sleep, and they were so amazing and respectful. The private exit for us was such a nice touch, as was the not so clinical feel of the exam room. I returned to Truesdell a few weeks ago with one of my own cats, and was relieved to not be met with judgement for spotty vet care and that my concerns were listened to—and believed! Giving prices on the fly so that I knew how much money up front it would cost was also great, and despite more tests than I’d anticipated initially, it remained within my budget. The care they exhibited makes me more comfortable than I’ve felt at past vets, and it was so refreshing.

I took my cat here for a routine exam, and I was really pleased and impressed with the level of care at Truesdell! All of the staff who helped me were incredibly kind and focused on keeping my cat relaxed and comfortable. They offered things I’ve never experienced at another vet, and I was really touched at how determined they were to help my cat relax during a stressful visit. Dr. Goff, Christa and Michelle and everyone at the office were all so professional and informative during our visit. They were transparent and honest about pricing and the urgency of procedures, and also provided a discount on the new patient exam! I’m extremely pleased with the quality of care at Truesdell and recommend them to anyone looking for a new vet. I also deeply appreciated that I was able to schedule a new patient visit online, rather than having to call.

I called Tuesday night for an appointment for my new Hamster and they were able to accommodate an appointment the following afternoon. They were very kind and welcoming to me as a new customer and very gentle with my little baby. They had a lot of great information and I very much trusted them with the health and safety of my pet Wynn. Very satisfied with their services!

My dogs have been going to Truesdell since moving to Madison, and we LOVE them!! Arwen (10 yrs) gets biweekly laser therapy sessions to help with her arthritis, and the staff always makes her feel so loved. Additionally, Siggi (2 yrs) has had the BEST care as she is on her cancer journey—Dr. Koepke especially has been a huge help throughout the past few months. I would highly recommend the wonderful staff at Truesdell! They are knowledgeable, kind, and make you and your pets feel so welcome and appreciated.
