VCA Venture Animal Hospital

I went to this clinic after adopting a kitten during the weekend. I called and they told me I could go in. When I arrived they told me that the next appointment was until Friday. I explained that I just wanted that they test her for Respiratory Infection since she was sneezing according to the shelter. They told me to take her to Urgent Care I told them I did yesterday and paid 200 and they advise to go to VCA so they could do the test for free. The last again started repeating herself that I should take her to urgent care. She was like a robot no concern no compassion no empathy. If I could give 0 stars I will do. Terrible service and lack of compassion when dealing with a pet and the death of my partner was heartless.

The medical care my dog has received has been fine. She hates visiting the vet, so it always an ordeal and I will only bring her in if it is absolutely needed. Her flea and tick meds require a prescription but they insist on an expensive and traumatic (and unneeded) office visit plus testing for each annual renewal, which is aggravating. My work around is to get a prescription at a Vetco Clinic (which is free for vital care members) and then buy the meds on line (which is actually less expensive than their in house Vetsource). I'd take her there if she had an injury or illness, but for routine stuff not worth the constant upsells and unneeded pressure to visit.

I brought my friend and his Jack Russel to VCA. The pup wasnt feeling well. We were in the examination room immediately. The staff were very friendly and sincere. They were gentle and helped my friend out well using the proper coupons to make her treatment affordable for him. We are all happy now. Clean environment with free parking in the rear! Great job folks!

Took my elderly cat Marley here for his first vet visit in a while. Everyone was super nice! The place was clean, nice didn’t feel like your typical vet. Overall great experience, I got him a 1 year health plan. Only feed back, not to the location itself. The review you send in the email is SOO LONG. I was at question 14 and ONLY at 50% complete so I closed it. If you gunna send a review 10 questions or less.

Dr. Tarazi was really sweet and gentle with my pet, and I appreciated how accommodating she was during the initial visit. However, once I paid, the level of attentiveness shifted. I asked the nurse for a copy of the initial treatment plan, and she brushed me off, saying, "I actually have another patient right now, so you’ll have to wait." I then asked the front desk if I could speak with Dr. Tarazi again — they called her and let her know I was waiting in the lobby, but she never came back out. At that point, my questions essentially felt like an inconvenience to the staff — it was very apparent, which is sad. I understand that it’s a busy practice, but as a pet parent, I deserve the opportunity to ask follow-up questions and receive documentation, even after payment. So just a heads-up: make sure to get all your questions answered and paperwork in hand before you pay — you might not get the same level of care afterward.

I took my havanese dog to this VCA animal hospital the day before Christmas, to have her severe matting issue taken care of I have tried so many different places to have her treated because she would get aggressive and was in pain from the matting they managed to sedate her and clean her up so nice she was a completely different dog she is so much happier and healthier now that she’s not in pain and I am so grateful to the vet who was amazing and I am extremely grateful to Andrew the Vet Tech he was supportive and kind with my dog he put all my worries at ease I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and I am so glad Andrew was there to take care of my dog. This was truly a Christmas miracle. Thank you
