Dr. Kimberly Carvalho hands down the most kind, honest, loving,professional and knowledgeable vet! She responds to your calls in a timely manner, she runs on time, she is truly a dying breed of veterinarians. We have been with her for more 18 years. She is also a great listener when I was unhappy with her support members, she was able to get back to me with an understanding of the situation and it never happened again. Great person to have looking after your furry friends.

I have been going over there for at least 19 years. My vet is Dr. Kim Carvalho.She has been over caring for my now decease Charlie and Lucy. However now I have two more little sausages Soleil and Lucie both speak French and especially Lucie. I had a problem with Lucie on Christmas Day, she was paralyzed for 4 month however my vet was always there for us. Love our auntie Kim. I do really recommend that hospital. I do understand that sometimes it can be a problem for some. The only thing i don’t like about it, is there phone system, they should add on it, if you don’t want to wait on the line push on the star key and we will call you back in 15 minutes example.

I took my dog to emergency spend the whole day , pay more than a thousand dollars.. my dog has a problem can’t pee or poop .. instead to give me something to help to pee , they gave him something to do the opposite. Incontinence medicine to stop pee.. omg, thank God I went on google and call my primary doctor.. my dog was getting worse!!

Great office top to bottom! Front desk is helpful, patient and organized. The office is clean and well cared for, and they even have parking! Dr. Carvalho is a gem of a human. Not only is she an excellent physician, she radiates motherly love and truly listens to your concerns. We love our appointments with her, and look forward to them! She loves her furry patients and has a wonderful memory - she really gets to know you. Just the best.

I brought my soon to be 16 year old Maltese in to see Dr. Carvalho for her arthritis and dementia issues. I found her to be extremely pleasant, patient and sensitive to my Lucia. She suggested some additional meds to her program and they have helped her considerably. I also noticed that Luca felt extremely comfortable with Dr. Carvalho's exam, and did not become overly stressed. I highly recommend her. I also liked the clinic and the fact that I could be with Lucia during the entire process. Everyone was pleasant and the place was very clean!

I requested a vet appointment for my dog who had concerning digestive problems, something that specified. I was given an appointment for a date 9 days later. Now, I am aware that VCA operates an emergency vet clinic close to my house. Since it is unrealistic to expect walking out from an emergency vet clinic with a bill under 4 digits, either my regular VCA is way understaffed or it is a racket. I don’t know the answer but I’ll be looking for an alternative.

Dr Kimberly Carvalho is the only vet in Los Angeles that I completely trust for the care of my animals. I first met her over 15 years ago (likely closer to 20) with my first cat. I've since moved and had to go to other vets closer to me but when something serious comes up I will go to her and trust her without a doubt to do and suggest what is in the best interest of my animals. This place was bought out many years ago by VCA unfortunately but VCA did not affect the quality of care here at this office at all thankfully. The pricing is a little above average and one reason I don't go here often. It's on par with other VCA so you know what to expect. If you're looking for somewhere to go where they care about the well-being of your pets over everything else, this is a safe bet. Over the years I've been told to not do procedures at times that would cause unnecessary distress and suffering and I've also had one of my pets lives completely saved when there was little hope of survival.
