My golden retriever ate a plastic bag and ultimately needed emergency surgery for a blockage. The staff at VCA was amazing, communicative, thoughtful, and clearly loved and cared for all of the animals, especially the inpatients. The primary vet called twice per day to provide updates, and with 10am-10pm visiting hours we got to spend a lot of time with him as an in-patient. While I was visiting with my dog, so many of the vet techs came up to say hello to him and knew the exact progress he needed to make for next steps. We are so thankful to the staff at VCA and grateful that our dog is back home with us.

If I was able to give 0 stars I totally would !! Don't bring your pups to this Hospital! I took my 8-month old husky there because she wasn't eating, was throwing up, and had diarrhea and my baby died 2 days later. She was seen by Dr. William Husky and he only suggested a few shots and an X-Ray. She had that done and was sent home with some prescribed medication. Dr. Husky said she was stable and that she had probably eaten something bad to her stomach. My baby was able to walk when we took her that Thursday night and the next day she was super weak. I didn't think much of it because he said she was stable and I figured the medication had her feeling fatigued. I was under the impression she was going to get better and she passed the day after. Before she passed, she began bleeding from her genital area and throwing up. I called the hospital that Saturday, an hour before she passed, so I could speak to the doctor and give him updates on my husky. They told me he wasn't there but that they were going to call him to let him know the status of my dog. When she passed, I called back and all they said was that they were sorry and proceeded to offer me their cremation services. Don’t bring your animals to this hospital!! All they care about is getting paid and nothing else. © Useful 4 © Funny o @ Cool

This is a fantastic VCA!! Easy parking, very clean and beautiful office, with very kind staff. I got a coupon from IG to have my first visit and I was expecting it to be loud and crowded, kind of like an emergency room but it wasn’t that at all! The doctor was very kind, thorough, answered all my questions and put me at ease. It was a seamless experience and I’m very grateful to all the doctors and staff here for having Little One & me last weekend. Oh that’s the other thing — amazing hours here!! So helpful to have Sunday hours so I don’t have to take off of work 🙏

I cannot say better things about my experiences here with Dr. Youngblood. She has taken care of my elderly chihuahua for the last couple of years and has completely saved her on multiple accounts. Not only does Dr. Youngblood help guide your decisions using her medical expertise, but you can tell she truly cares. The rest of the staff here has always been very kind and caring toward my dog, too. I cannot thank Dr. Youngblood enough for everything she has done for us. I fully trust and appreciate her (and her staff) so much!

My puppy was put down at this hospital today. Some of the doctors are professionals but i just don't understand why they didn't give my puppy a blood test upon arriving. He was hospitalized on the second day and i paid $1800 in total. On the third day, another doctor examined him and we decided to give him the blood test. It turns out that my puppy's liver was not functioning and his chance of survival is below 20%. I would have to pay $8000-$10,000 to give it a try but the doctor did not recommend it as this problem might reoccur even if he is fully healed. So why didn't they give him the blood test since I first got here? I just feel like they want me to hospitalize my puppy to get paid and then on the next day tells me that he is not going to make it. Whats even worse is that when the doctor was putting down my puppy, the receptionist and the hospital's manager, MANAGER was SINGING THE BIRTHDAY SONG!!! Do you know how hard it was to see your pet leaving this world while hearing the people outside singing and laughing? Don't tell me they have no idea that my pet is being put down. It was ridiculous and when I walked out of the room, they didn't even notice me leaving. THE MANAGER AND RECEPTIONIST DON'T GIVE AF ABOUT YOUR PET. THE ONLY THING IN THEIR EYES IS $$$. Here is a picture of my puppy before all this nonsense. I will be glad if anyone who sees this give him prayers.

I took my cat in for a basic check-up because they had a free check up ad. I expressed that rarely our cat would breathe loud when we pick him up. I was told he was in great health but he wanted to run a test for respiratory disease. Despite no diagnosis of the issue and results, he was prescribed doxycycline. Within 24 hours, he started coughing, breathing with his mouth open, hiding, and acting lethargic — symptoms he had never shown before. 2 days after the medication, we got a call that the results came out negative. So basically, prescribed a medication for a cat didn't have any issues and now my cat is suffering. We rushed him to the emergency vet, terrified. When I called VCA back, I was told by Jocelyne that "there’s nothing they can do" and was only offered a refund for the first visit — no accountability, no concern, no follow-up. My cat is still suffering, and the lack of care, responsibility, and compassion was shocking. I expected better from a place that claims to prioritize animals' health.

I only come here for speciality needs. My girl needed her knee checked out and repaired after injuring herself… Dr. Alan Schulman is truly a specialist who takes pride in his work. He repaired her as good as new with honesty and integrity. Thank you to Dr. Schulman and his team!
