After receiving the cancer diagnosis we were referred to two specialty surgeons. After meeting with both I knew Dr Campbell and his team would be the perfect fit. Dr Campbell was very detailed with the explanation of treatment options. Dr Campbell and his team were extremely compassionate and generous with their time during the healing process. Without fail I would not hesitate to recommend Dr Campbell. I'm truly grateful for him and his amazing staff.
I can’t say enough good things about Stitches Animal Hospital. From the moment we walked in, we were met with genuine compassion, kindness, and care during what was an incredibly scary time for us and our dog. Dr. Campbell went above and beyond, his level of compassion and dedication truly gave us hope when we needed it most. His assistant, Starr, was just as amazing, so gentle, patient, and loving with our dog, which made all the difference. Every single person we encountered treated us like family, not just another appointment. What could have been one of the most stressful experiences turned into something filled with reassurance and trust. We knew our dog was in the best hands possible the entire time. As cheesy as it may sound, this place really restored our faith in humanity. We are beyond grateful for the love and care they showed us and our pup. Thank you all for everything, you made a lasting impact on our lives, and we will never forget it.
I recently took my 6-month-old puppy, Chihiro, to Stitches Veterinary Surgery Center for orthopedic surgery on her left femur, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. From the moment we walked in, the office staff was friendly and kind, putting both me and my pet at ease. Dr. Campbell did an incredible job of assessing her prior to surgery and thoroughly explained the surgical process in detail, answering all my questions and ensuring I felt comfortable and informed. They also monitored her progress closely post-surgery, providing excellent follow-up care instructions. Chihiro was always excited to come in for her check-ups which is a testament to the love and care the Stitches team provided. The center is clean, well-organized, and modern. It has been approximately two months since her surgery, and Chihiro is like a new dog!. I highly recommend Stitches Veterinary Surgery Center!
Dr. Campbell and his staff are simply amazing! This team of people care so much for you and your pet like they are family. Dr. Campbell is not only very knowledgeable and experienced with treating your pet, he really spent time with me and my dog to get to know us. I have to say I credit Dr. Campbell with saving my dog from losing his leg, and providing alternatives that I was very happy with. My dog 'Wilson' will be back out running around like he used to very soon! I am very glad to have met Dr. Campbell and his team. I've not met a better veterinary doctor and office team. I'm very grateful for what he did for me and Wilson.
I rarely leave reviews, but this vet hospital has my heart in awe. Dr. Campbell, the front gal receptionist, the discharge nurse, the doctor's assistance were so kind, patient and inviting. They made my dog feel more comfortable by giving him his space and acknowledging his hesitation and apprehension, lol. We initially sought care at VCA and while they also provided great care, STITCHES has my heart due to their style of communication, strategies in how they handle follow up care (they called my next day to check on my pup, sent me medical records as soon as they came in and even summarized what the findings indicated). Though this may be minor and biased (cause I love dogs), I especially loved how they referred to my dog as "my baby". Although I wish that my dogs will never need surgery again, lol, if they ever do - I know where I will be taking them too. **Also, surgeries are expensive, but this hospital was superrrrr affordable. I advise anyone to look into the cherry payment plans**
Wow. Since my darling daughter (cat) cannot call for medical care, I made an inquiry to Stitches to see if they would be the right fit for Pepper's ongoing and chronic ear issues. The practice manager, Missy, took so much good time and care to talk through recommendations and even provide vets who were a better fit. It's so hard to deal with our babies when they have a health crisis! Surgery is not the route for Pepper (yet) but Stitches will be a first call if we have to go that route!
Really can't say enough about the care I received at Stitches Veterinary Surgery with Dr. Campbell and the rest of his team. I had just moved to Long Beach, within two weeks of my ragdoll cat Pouncey's diagnosis of a large kidney tumor that needed to be removed. Truly fortunate that Stitches opened up just earlier this year and is right down the street from me, a beautiful modern surgical clinic and OR suite in one. From the moment Liz took my intake information down to the initial surgery consult, I knew I was in good hands. Dr. Campbell understood my anxiety regarding the urgency of the situation and basically held my hand through the entire process, with frequent phone calls and detailed visit notes. He scheduled Pouncey for surgery the very next week. Prices were fair including itemized invoices with which I had no issues getting reimbursed by my insurance. The nephrectomy surgery itself couldn't have gone any better - Dr. Campbell called me immediately afterwards to give me an update. Pouncey healed up quickly without any complications, and his surgical scar healed up to the point you can't even see the incision. The best news about all of this was that the tumor pathology turned out to be benign. Thank you to all of the team at Stitches for making Pouncey and my experience so amazing and low stress, and for allowing him to live many more healthy years to come.
