My experience at the Southwest Valley Vet practice is always exceptional. Our most recent visit with Dr. Wendy, Vet Tech Kaitlyn, Kim, and Bree was also outstanding. The receptionist staff are calming and the kindest - they set the tone and make us feel seen and heard. Kaitlyn is calm, kind and a patient wealth of knowledge and was unfazed and so gentle helping with my unruly kitties. Dr. Wendy is a powerhouse- so kind and addressing all my questions, ensuring excellent healthcare for my cats and meeting all of their needs- with comfort and preventative care at the forefront. Dr. Wendy takes her time with us, is incredibly knowledgeable and creative in her treatment and approach, and researches and follows up promptly to ensure the best treatment is initiated and the owner has a solid overview of treatment options. I so appreciate the expertise of this team, keeping my cats happy and healthy. I was so impressed by the way the team’s calm energy calmed my nervous feline!

The staff and doctors are always warm and caring. Our sweet Uhtred became very ill, very quickly. They referred him to go to the emergency vet. He didn't make it, but they checked in and mailed us a condolence card that everyone signed. It was a rough time, but that small gesture meant a lot to our family. Thank you for caring for our fur babies.

I have taking my BFF to Southwest Veterinary Hospital for about 3 years. They provide excellent, compassionate service at a reasonable price. Today, I spoke to Cody who informed me about a discount program that they offer. He was knowledgeable and knew all of the specifics about discounts and services offered by the program. I will renew. This practice offers extended hours starting at 7:30 a.m. which is convenient for me.

New to the area, location was convenient so we gave it a try for our senior dog. We are glad that we found this location. The staff is wonderful and we look forward to years of good health for a pet!

Okay, here's the thing. I NEVER review anything however, I've never had better service from a veterinary hospital before. I've been bringing my two cats here multiple times for years and they are the most caring, professional, and informative team I've ever met. If I have ANY questions they are always making sure to answer them and if my cats get sick all of a sudden, they will always show compassion and get them seen as soon as possible. They are very open about costs of treatments and procedures too so I feel comfortable and prepared for any treatment my kitties need. Overall, the team that works here really cares about you and your animals. This goes from the vets, vet tech, and even the people working the front desk. They are all so incredibly kind, compassionate, and professional. I am very grateful for finding them because I know my cats will always get exceptional care here. I decided to come to this vet hospital after calling around to many other vets, even my regular hospital, that were much more expensive and this was the most affordable. My dog started experiencing limping on her back left leg and from the start everyone was so lovely and compassionate when it came to addressing the issue. They got me an appointment as soon as they could knowing my dog was in pain. Dr. Mark did a wonderful job explaining to me my dogs X-rays and what surgery would be beneficial to help her limping. I will definitely be coming back here for regular vet visits.

For more than three decades, Southwest Veterinary Hospital has cared for my four-legged family members, which have included four dogs and two cats. And for over three decades, the staff’s medical care and compassion has been, and still is exceptional! Perhaps I didn’t realize how exceptional SWVH is until recently when I was required to take my new puppy, Lulu, for her initial vet appointments, appointments at specific hospitals that were contractually required in her adoption. In comparison to these two other hospitals, SWVH far excels in its staff’s professionalism, courtesy, caring, as well as its facility’s overall environment and attention to cleanliness. For these reasons and more, I’ll continue to drive from east-central Denver to SWVH. And for these reasons and more, I give my highest possible recommendation to Southwest Veterinary Hospital and its staff!
