I cannot say enough wonderful things about this veterinary clinic! From the moment I called and walked in, the entire team was kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. They treated our dog like their own and made me feel confident in the process forward. The staff and Dr. Hoppes took the time to explain everything clearly, answer all of my questions, and ensure I felt comfortable with the plan forward. Their compassion, professionalism, and attention to detail truly was amazing! It’ is truly such a relief to find a clinic you can fully trust with your pet. I am beyond grateful for the amazing experience we had and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for exceptional care for their furry family members!

We have been taking our oldest dog to Highlands for 6 years now (and our younger dog as long as we've had him). The staff is always professional, kind and willing to listen to our concerns, and they are so good with our pups! We love all the vets and staff here and highly recommend. We used to live in the area but now live completely across town, but still come here because they are that wonderful.

Unimpressed with this location. It’s the bare minimum at best. Vets communication and care is horrible. My cat was misdiagnosed with cancer and took medication that made him far more ill. It was dangerous and costly. This place just wants money. Every other clinic I’ve been to is far more thorough and prioritizes care.

While Mr. Kitty was alive, Highlands Animal Hospital took amazing care of him - even though he was a cranky old boy. I highly recommend using them as your family veterinary clinic. They truly care about our furry family members.

STAY AWAY! This clinic is under new ownership. My cat used to love Dr. Smith, but he is no longer there. The new owners do not care about the well-beings of your animals. During my cat’s last visit she was handled very roughly by the vet and the groomer, and she hid for a day after I brought her home. After I let them know this, they cancelled her prescription food (for no reason) that was previously prescribed. This clinic does not provide the same care as when Dr. Smith was the owner.

My dog and cat both had an amazing experience here. Doctor Smith and vet technician Amy Wendland were kind and helpful. They don’t push extra products. They must know what they’re doing because my chihuahua who hates strangers was totally okay with them, even after taking her blood! If that doesn’t say something, nothing will. My cat was calm and happy the whole appointment. Not a peep from either of them during vaccinations. These people know what they’re doing. Third vet we have tried in Lincoln, and I think this time we will stick!

I’ve been taking my dog to Dr. Hal for 13 years. He has since retired and this place is under new ownership. Wow!! What a disappointment, service is not what it was. Went in for a check up and the vet was not friendly at all. I have a 13 year old that is blind and is nearing the end. STAY AWAY if looking for a vet clinic that cares.
