Last night was no different than all the other nights. My pup and I were treated with kindness and compassion. The doctors and staff are very knowledgeable and take the time to answer questions. I am beyond appreciative that they are available thru the night to help with emergencies.
My dog ate a plum seed, internet research suggested to contact a vet or animal poison control immediately, I did. I took my dog into BluePearl and they got her in right away. Shortly thereafter, the vet assistant returned to the lobby with my dog, explaining she was healthy and there was nothing to worry about. They could have kept her back there, pumped her stomach, given her whatever meds and services they wanted to charge me for, I would've paid the bill, left, and been none the wiser. Suprised by the quick turn around, I went to the counter to check out and pay, and was pleasantly surprised when I was told there was no charge. I was expecting to pay something, however they didn't charge me a dime. I feel like writing a review is the least I can do after experiencing the honesty, kindness, compassion, and great service BluePearl provided to my dog and myself. Thank you everyone at BluePearl, I'm grateful for you and the service you provide.
I had a very disappointing experience at BluePearl Pet Hospital. We waited for 3 hours expecting our dog to be seen, only to be told they could no longer treat him because a tech had to leave sick. Instead of being upfront earlier, we were sent to another ER hospital without them even calling ahead to confirm availability. When we got there, they didn’t have capacity either so after hours of waiting and driving, our dog was not seen anywhere that night. In an emergency situation, time matters. If you don’t have the staffing or capacity, that needs to be communicated clearly and early not after hours of waiting. At minimum, coordination with another facility should happen before sending patients elsewhere. Bottom line: this experience cost us critical time, added unnecessary stress, and left our pet without care when it mattered most.
Impressed with their kind handling of my behavioral "problem child". I wasn’t sure what to expect after seeing the reviews out there for this business. They completely exceeded my expectations while caring for my behavioral dog. I brought in my reactive pit bull mix, Bhodi, who can be intimidating and has history of aggression when injured. He was vomiting and had symptoms of a bowel blockage. There was little to no wait because of his condition and I was met at the car with a technician who seemed understand behavioral dogs. She read his body language and adjusted his care accordingly, and WITHOUT judgement. I worry anytime we visit the vet, concerned with how the provider will handle my dog due to his unique personality. With careful but quick planning and consideration they took charge and I felt like I could breath as he was in good hands. They were compassionate and carefully handled the (very necessary) muzzling process so that Bhodi felt as safe and comfortable as possible. It was obvious that the technicians and doctor truly cared to help my dog get better. I could tell they tried to keep my cost down as much as possible, consulting with me about all their treatment decisions before acting. They communicated clearly and did not get sick of my repetitive questions and worries.
Seen quickly because I got there just after opening. Staff was super friendly. I thought my little girl was having an Addison’s crisis. The vet told me I had done everything right in treating her and thought it may have been her back instead as she was was flinching with palpitation. She has just had labs two weeks prior and didn’t feel she needed more labs done. Decided on some IV fluids. She was already feeling better after the medications I had given her. I appreciate them being fiscally aware and working with me on Maggie to find the right treatment without doing more than she needed. Much appreciated
I couldn’t ask for better staff last Wednesday night 10/15/25 on the worst night of my life when we brought our chocolate lab Cody in to be treated. Unfortunately we weren’t able to save him and the staff here was absolutely amazing with my husband and I and Cody. You can teach someone the science behind taking care of an animal but you can’t teach them to care as much as they did and for all of us and I am sooo thankful for them.💔 to my husband and I our dogs are like our children as I’m sure for most people but the staff were soo understanding and helpful and took their time to help us right down to the lady when it came time for the bill. I can’t thank you enough and we are so thankful for all of you! Cody had a splenic tumor which was cancerous and had a blood vessel burst, and I appreciate the vet so much for advising us on how to proceed on what was best for him and wouldn’t cause undue suffering
I took my beloved cat Batman at 3:30 am to Blue Pearl desperately trying to figure out what was wrong with him. Brianna Thorne was unfortunately the vet on staff that morning. She told me he had a bladder infection and prescribed antibiotics and "pain" medication (ridiculously priced and told to last days) I had no problem paying the absolutely outrageous price $597 for visit- urinalysis and meds as long as my baby was going to be okay. Not even a day and a half later my baby was dying. I rushed him to my personal vet, she stated there is no way it was just a bladder infection (he was not blocked) vet offered a 30% survival with blood transfusion. I couldn’t watch him suffer any longer and opted to put him to sleep. I am besides myself that he is gone. Completely devastated, I hardly write reviews however I must warn people of the incompetence! Stay away! Go elsewhere!! I added pictures of my sweet boy that is now gone forever due to the negligence and ignorance of Brianna Thorne, I don’t even want to address her as a Veterinarian. She’s absolutely horrible!
