Choosing at-home euthanasia for our boy, Pete, made sense so his final moments would be peaceful. Instead, the process felt rushed and marked by a lack of compassion and communication. Dr. Neiman didn’t acknowledge Pete, he simply instructed me to hold him as he began sedation. When I asked him to wait so I could help Pete onto his bed, he started anyway, saying it would take a few minutes to take effect. I know it’s uncomfortable to witness the intense grief I was displaying, but compassion matters most in those moments. After sedation, I stepped away briefly to check the grave, and my teen called me back because the vet was already preparing the final injection. What was missing was simple empathy: something like, "I know this is hard. Take a few moments with Pete before we continue." That kind of awareness makes all the difference. This was an important moment in our lives. Instead of a gentle goodbye, we’re left with a painful memory that won’t fade.

My cat is the youngest member of my family, like my third child, and his name is Blakey. I want him to be less stressed and feel safe from any upsets. You are very professionals and care for animals as if they were people. I felt like my pet loved you and treated you like a member of the family. This is so valuable, especially when a pet is afraid. I can't imagine how we would have managed without your mobile clinic! Blakey is always very stressed at any clinic, but here everything went smoothly. You resolve every incident or problem related to my cat immediately; it's a real lifesaver for us! I will always be grateful to you and highly recommend your mobile clinic to anyone with pets. Not every veterinary clinic is as responsive as yours. You and your incredibly kind assistant are very friendly and responsive people, even when I called several times, you treated me with the respect and responded immediately, coming to help my little rascal.

Just had an amazing experience - first time using a home-visit vet, and totally worth it! My cat Mugi is 14 years old and has a difficult time riding in cars (getting her stressed out even before she gets to the vet office), but Neighborhood Vets pulled up in my driveway with all of their equipment on board so Mugi only had a 10-second carry to the mobile vet van! She was much calmer, and on top of that, Dr. Nieman is an expert at handling cats and the entire experience was so much smoother than an in-office vet visit. Both Dr. Nieman and Joan were so professional and kind, and I will definitely be calling them for future vet visits as well. Thank you both so much!

Our first visit with Neighborhood Vet Mobile Care was in 2019. Since then, Dr. Neiman has been our primary vet for all our pets: a grumpy outdoor cat, our dog (a 65 lbs super mutt), and our newest kitten. His mobile clinic is fully equipped just like a standing clinic. Most recently, I emailed Dr. Neiman a picture of our cat's issue (it was over the weekend). He called me back within 24 hours to schedule an appointment for the next day. He was able to perform a full surgery in his mobile clinic right in our driveway. Sadly, this wasn't the first time he has had to "work" on our outdoor cat. But it has always been nice that I don't have to stress the cat out further and I am able to carry him inside to rest comfortably. We are so grateful for Dr. Neiman and Nurse Joan for their care and the service that they provide to keep our furry friends healthy and living their best lives.

PSA**** Today I had Neighborhood Vets Mobile service out today. They were highly recommended to me by my friend and groomer Sarah. The van pulled right into my driveway and the cutest husband and wife greeted me and Rose. I sat in the van while rose got her shots and treated for all the things that dogs need. They were so good with Rose too. Normally at the vet she’s a nightmare but today she was easy and relaxed. They informed me their Bravecto and heartwarming meds are cheaper than Chewie. I can’t recommend them enough. Here’s some pictures. Also, their scheduling is quick.

I absolutely love neighborhood vet mobile care! Dr. Nieman and Joan are amazing! I first contacted them when it was time for my senior dog, Brazy, to cross the rainbow bridge. They were professional, loving and caring! My other fur baby, Sophie, is now one of their patients. I love that they come to my home to care for Sophie. It's less stressful on the pets. Prices are very reasonable, in fact less than my previous vet. I wish I would have found them a long time ago!

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Larry and the quality of personal service he provides. He's been excellent for the care and treatment of our three Springer Spaniels and cat. As a business owner with a unpredictable schedule, it's incredibly convenient to have him come to our home and more comfortable for the dogs as well. I highly recommend him!
