Everyone on the team is amazing. Very personable and eager to help. The Docs gave my emu every treatment for every possibility and had great communication with me during his stay.

We visited Mountain West as my guinea pig Mohave was struggling! It was an emergency no doubt! They took him immediately to give him oxygen, Within a few minutes they had taken him to xray, then back on oxygen! When the doctor came out she advised that he had upper respiratory infection. She gave options for his care, approximate cost. Of course he was a lil chunk, 1.6 pounds! We laughed! I asked questions, she answered. Then came the lousy part, my sweet Mohave was full of lymphoma! Last she offered euthanasia as an option! I needed a few minutes, I had held him the entire day before with a few potty breaks. I knew he was suffering! Went back inside to give just a few more kisses and loves! The greatest Hello, the hardest Goodbye! Every person that day did their very best for us! I felt Peace knowing I'd done my best! Mohave, was hand delivered to my door about 1.5 weeks later! I'm grateful for the care, kindness, concern that day! I definitely highly recommend them! Thanks Y'all 🖤🐹✌

Best exotic vet I have been to! I have brought my red ear slider in the last two egg-laying seasons, and each time I'm given the situation, and the cost up front for what needs to be done. They also include what may be needed so I know what to expect if things go differently. My turtle started with 6 eggs on the first visit, with the expectation that they would move along naturally. Welp things took a turn as she laid one egg and nothing after. Took her in for the second follow-up visit and we had 11 eggs she needed help with. She stayed overnight so they could help her. She is my rescue baby and has been though so much it's hard to be away from her. I trust them so much to leave her 53 minutes away overnight with no stress whatsoever. I highly recommend them to anyone with reptiles or amphibians. It's worth the drive!!

Mountain West Exotics is LITERALLY the best. Lofgren and Santangelo know their stuff. I simply will not take my exotics anywhere else. They have treated my piggies who both had/have require knowledgeable and specialized care. I can't say enough about them! Also, Aliana, vet tech, light in the dark, gorgeous human being, my favorite. I can't say enough about this office. Absolutely bring your babies here. You will get the best care for you babies here

Dr. Lofgren took great care of my head hen after I thought nothing could save her. I learned a lot (including stop reading the Internet for answers) and my girl is thriving again!

update: she died 2 days after her vet visit. do NOT give them your business. they do NOT care about your animals it was not good. they OVERCHARGE AND UNDER PERFORM. didnt really do anything. I came in because my lizard was bloated and not eating. I asked if she looked constipated or like anything was wrong. the doctor just gave very vague answers and told me to get an x ray. you can definitely see if she's constipated or impacted with a trained eye, which i dont have, which is why I brought her there. It was $85 to be told i should give her insects that are gut loaded. she isn't eating! that was the reason I took her in! Just not very helpful, i feel like my concerns were not heard at all. I'd recommend going somewhere else if you can. they did give me 50% off an injection which was nice and appreciated. but other than that, not much was done and I dont feel at all satisfied. shes still bloated and still not eating and I still have no clue what it could be.

3/23 - Final update: Lost my friend. Get your birds checked, let these people help you. This has been one of the hardest losses of my life. Get insurance for your pet, and get them checked up regularly by Specialists like this team. Please. ~2/14 - Update: This team is awesome. They got my little buddy back up and running. Its been so scary. 1st time pet owner of a green cheek conure, and i wouldnt want another pet other than her. I am forever grateful to this team helping my friend and giving her a chance to fight! <3 Just putting out good feels. My little friend is in with their care right now, and I'm just hoping for the best. This bird means so much to me. The doc was kind, and the staff have been all kind. Letting a grown man get sad over his little bird. Just sitting here missing her.
