Eye Care for Animals - Las Vegas

Truly very grateful to the person who recommended us to Eye Care for Animals. I’ve brought my dog to remove a growth from his lid (delicate surgery and his eye looks beautiful now) and continue to take my cat for treatment (he’s made a lot of improvement) The staff is so great and friendly! Lastly, but not least Dr. Smith is absolutely amazing. Thank you for the care and continued care! Could not recommend them enough!

We love and trust Eye Care For Animals. Been taking all the dogs we had and have to Dr.Smith to take care of for many many years! Our Crosby is a current patient and he’s doing super wonderful! Dr Smith is amazing! He’s brilliant, very kind, really cares about each of his patients. He has a big heart. His staff are all awesome, helpful, friendly, and patiently understanding. The wait time is minimal, prices are more than fair. The waiting area and treatment rooms are immaculate! Very comfortable! I don’t know what we would ever do without Eye Care For Animals and the caring people who work there. We are so grateful to everyone there!

Eye Care for Animals is absolutely amazing! Dr Smith and his team were caring, patient and informative with our dog Chloe. It’s scary knowing your older dog isn’t seeing quite as well as they should be, but Dr Smith reassured me that Chloe was fine and aging as she should be. I feel she is in good hands. I don’t review often, but I knew I had to here. This place is too good and I wanted all pet owners to know.

For anyone who has a pet with any eye concern or problem, please bring your animal to Eye Care for Animals; they are simply the best of the best in Las Vegas- especially Dr. Christopher Smith. I don't post this comment lightly; he is EXCEPTIONAL at what he does; he is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC! It's harder-and-harder these days to find businesses that provides exceptional and extraordinary service without feeling like you're paying a small fortune, but you will find phenomenal service and care here. The front staff and Dr. Smith's assistants are great too- all of which are warm, friendly, genuine and professional without being fake, phony or pretentious! The facility/office is really clean and well kept as well. Just a thought in closing: A regular Veterinarian, no matter how good you may think they are or how much you may like them is not as knowledgeable or nearly as trained or skilled to provide the expertise you will need for your animal(s) care and well-being. I beg you to save yourself a lot of time and frustration, and save your animal a lot of discomfort and pain and immediately request your hospital to contact Dr. Smith and Eye Care for Animals for a consultation and visit for any eye issue your furry loved one may have. I took my boston terrier to Eye Care for Animals to see if anything could be done about her worsening eyesight, nearly blind now. They did a test and unfortunately, her retinas are the cause of her blindness and it cannot be repaired. Dr. Smith was wonderful with Katy, knew his stuff and explained the process thoroughly. Of course, I was disappointed, but very glad Dr Smith checked Katy out and gave me the details about the genetics involved. This is a wonderful, caring practice - including the office staff.

I am so thankful for the wonderful experience that we had yesterday with our Queenie. We recently moved to Las Vegas and had had a couple of appointments at a different dog ophthalmology clinic and did not feel that she received a great level of care for the cost. From the moment, Dr. Smith walked in the room and interacted with Queenie, I knew she was in the most capable, loving hands possible. I am so thankful that we found such a wonderful clinic to bring her to and look forward to a long relationship with the staff!

First off, Peggy should be commended for being so great on the phone. My dog Junior has some crazy eye pressures and we took him to another vet who gave us a couple of options. THe other vet didn't answer my calls, or emails, when I had some follow up questions. I called this clinic and Peggy was able to fit Junior in. Dr. Smith explained everything to my husband and we decided that this is the place to have caring for our pup. Kudos to Peggy, Dr. Smith, and whomever is running this clinic as it is a well oiled machine so far.
