Horse Heaven Hills Pet Urgent Care and Veterinary Center

I am a firm believer in 'first impressions' and this veterinary office did not disappoint. It felt like my little dude was an actual patient, in his own fancy hospital. Every amenity was provided; if my dog were allowed to use Google, he would give this establishment 5 stars, too. We would only trust our tiny Milk Dud to the best and Horse Heaven Hills provided that experience . The staff at the front desk were courteous and kind, being very astute to the situation. They veterinary tech was knowledgeable and friendly; making my puppy feel calm. Dr Roberson was efficient and effective; one of the kindest doctors I've ever met. Thanks so much for a fabulous experience; we will see y'all again soon!

Incredible staff that puts the pet before themselves EVERY TIME. From the moment you step through the front door you will have gold standard care. This job is one of the hardest jobs out there as you can imagine but you’ll always see true love and care in the eyes of this team rain or shine. Be nice to your vet staff. They’ll give you 110% whether you are or not.

If there was 10 stars, they would get 10. Absolutely phenomenal service, pricing and customer service from start to finish. Losing your dog of 16 years is incredibly hard, and they made the end of life "hard work" extremely easy. Not only that, but they also gave me back her ashes in a beautiful urn, a paw print mold, and tuft of hair to remember her by. Just an amazing experience start to finish, and can't recommend them enough!

Dr. Hamack and Kayla were amazing. The staff took us from Yakima to be seen (after waiting 3 hours at another urgent care) for my pup who was in some pain. I will definitely be back and I recommend them to everyone! Very clean and professional. With love, Duncan, Connor, and Holly! THANK YOU ❤️

We recently brought our cat, Precious, to Horse Haven in Kennewick because we were concerned about swelling in her tail. From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly kind and reassuring. What really stood out to us was how they took the time to bond with her before doing any treatment. They gave her treats, spoke gently to her, and treated her like she was their own pet. That meant so much to us as pet owners. You could genuinely feel that they care about animals, not just the appointment. It’s never easy bringing your pet in when you’re worried, but they made the entire experience comfortable and positive. We’re so grateful for the compassion and attention they showed Precious. Highly recommend!

Have had to visit H3 twice in the last couple of months for our kitten. Thankfully, the amazing staff have made both of our experiences as comfortable as possible. The clean, calm environment and the cute animal videos on the TVs helped too. Thank you to Dr. Erickson Dr. Hamack for taking great care of our Eddy!

The only reason I’m giving them any star at all is because they were able to get me in the same day. My shihtzu ended up getting something in her eye on a Saturday. I bought eye flush to help her at home by Wednesday it was clear she needed to go to the vet ( yellow discharge) shivering in pain. So I called this facility they got us in. $160 ( but $600 total for the visit the meds and the follow up visit) just to be seen which is fine, the Dr proceeds to tell us it’s the worst she’s ever seen but because my pup didn’t let them look at her eye they sent us home with pain relief, antibiotics and 2 drops and told us to come back in 3 days .. These drops were to be refrigerated which they didn’t tell me. There were also 2 sets of drops which needed to be spaced out atleast 5 min apart again something I was not told either. When we brought her back I was feeling pretty hopeful, her behavior was good she was back to her old crazy self holding her eye open etc. However the Dr said it was much worse that her eye was about to rupture and that they recommended removing her eye and wanted to take her back right then and there. They quoted us $2,300.00 and I honestly thank God we didn’t have it. I went home and started networking and ended up being contacted by the office manager for paws, claws and hooves in west Richland. She said not only can they provide that procedure for a fraction of the cost but that she would work with us for payment. They got us in that Monday to evaluate and guess what. My dog didn’t need her eye removed at all. Not only did they walk me through how to properly use her medicine they informed me that she will most likely get to keep her eye and that she will most likely be able to see out of it as well. We did schedule surgery another week out but when we went back they said she was doing great and didn’t need surgery. It’s been three weeks and she’s healing wonderfully. But if I had that money when we were at horses heaven my poor baby wouldn’t have her left eye. They sensationalized it by saying it’s the worst they have ever seen and her only other option would be to see a specialist in Spokane and to be honest it almost felt predatory .. It makes me wonder how many eyes they have removed from various pets when other options were possible. It honestly makes me sick to my stomach. I would NOT recommend them to anyone ever and I’ll never take another pet to them. **UPDATE ** About a month out recovery wise and Tookies eye is doing wonderfully. Didn’t need a specialist and I still thank god we didn’t have her eye unnecessarily removed. So angry about that still **New update*** 1/30/2026 Tookie is doing wonderfully. You can’t even tell she was ever hurt and as far as we can tell she is able to see out of that eye as well. And this facility made me think there was no other option than to cut her eye out. I want everyone to understand that a second opinion is not only for ppl it’s for your dog too. So if you go to this place and they give you an ultimatum that feels extreme think twice. I know we love our fur babies and that love can make us irrational and reactive but she isn’t even 2 years old yet. She would have had to live a good decade or more with one eye.
