Intracoastal West Veterinary Hospital

Intracoastal has been our Vet, Friend and Family. Everyone in the office is so caring, and such an animal lover. They’re fantastic and very knowledgeable.

I was so nervous finding a vet after moving to the area, but this clinic exceeded my expectations! Dr. Murphy and the other staff I saw were all so friendly and took their time with us. There were so many small things that really made me feel like they care about their customers/pets.

I cannot endorse Intercoastal West veterinary Hospital and Dr. Megan Murphy more. If you’re looking for a great veterinarian this is the one. The office is off gate Parkway across from IKEA, literally 10 minutes away. I had been to this office a couple years ago, but had to switch because of my working hours. I recently switched back and Dr. Murphy bought the practice in June. This office is personal and intimate. Dr. Murphy is so knowledgeable and thorough with both of my dogs. I have gone to other " doc in the box " vets and can never get an answer or told that I have to schedule an appointment. The prices are also so much more reasonable than other places like Forever Vets. They are never turning your back on you and typing a computer. Always greeting you and the pet and talking to you personally. They text you with updates and results

The new owners/vets are wonderful! So kind and knowledgeable. We had such a pleasant experience today and there was no wait time. I really appreciate that! When the staff are considerate of other animals in the waiting room as we're leaving, efficient with getting us seen, and no wait time -- it turns a stressful appointment (literally any vet appointment because my dogs get anxiety) into something completely manageable. Thank you.

A fantastic boutique veterinary clinic with a very personal, welcoming feel. The vets and technicians are incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly prioritize the well being of every animal they see. It’s clear they care deeply about their patients and go above and beyond to provide excellent care.

They were the most compassionate, patient and caring that clinic I’ve been to in Jacksonville. My dog Meena is skittish/shy and they allowed her to go at her pace which made the vet visit experience wonderful! I feel like despite being a busy clinic they were so caring and understanding of what she needed. Will definitely go back again.

Cannot say enough amazing things about this practice! The doctors are both amazing as is the staff! They truly care about my dog and do everything in their power to make him comfortable and feel safe! He’s never been so happy to go to the vet! Seriously….just the best! They also follow up the following day to see how your pet is doing after coming in for an appointment too-which is a nice touch!! Just an all around terrific practice!!! State of the art equipment, so clean, organized, well run, caring, accessible, excellent doctors, incredible techs, terrific front desk staff, all with a fear free approach to veterinary medicine!!! What more is there? ♥️
