VCA Irvine North Park Animal Hospital

Not the best place to take your pet for their annual exams. I took my dog here as part of our free exam for adopting and wasn’t really satisfied with how much time the doctors actually spent with us or even examined our dog. I don’t even think they did a full exam and them knowing we are first time owners, I don’t think they gave us any good advise of what to look out for. They only gave us ONE month’s worth of flea and tick prevention and not even mention what to do after that one month. I had to look up and read that I should be getting a prescribed preventative medication that’s given every month to my dog. They also try to pressure you into all their treatments and even their "wellness package" which is "discounted" even though everything is 2x the price. I luckily went to a different vet close by that gave me much more time together and actually gave advise and the prescriptions I needed for heartworm, flea and ticks. VCA is too overpriced and you barely get any quality care for what you pay for.

From the front reception staff to the techs and doctors, this vet hospital is very compassionate about your animal. I appreciate finding a smaller place so that my dogs get their full attention. I also commend them for providing quotes up front about the cost allowing for decision making without a surprize. They are also open 7 days a week which is helpful for those that work. My dogs get a goodie bag everytime we go, which is a treat to keep them happy on the way home.

I've been taking my dogs and cats to IVS in Northwood for nearly 15 years now and couldn't be happier. We go for medical issues and grooming/boarding. The staff knows me and the critters and they treat us all well. The dogs are my babies and the staff respect that and care for them like the family members they are. The dogs are comfortable there and the grooming is always great. I never worry when I board them there either. I wouldn't go anywhere else for healthcare for my guys. And if you don't believe me, just ask Wallie. He absolutely loves going to see his friends at Irvine Vet!

The staff and doctors at VCA Northpark are awesome. They truly care and have provided excellent care for our senior mini dachshund with IVDD. Thank you for being so amazing! Abby up front is so sweet and all of the doctors, especially Dr. Singer are wonderful. Truly thankful so we can provide our canine child a comfortable life in her senior years. 😊

Our 15-year old rescue cat Circe is still catching rats and jumping a 5-foot wall. It requires a profoundly good veterinarian to keep them going like that. Our younger cat is not top cat yet!

Fantastic ! I bring my 11 year old dog , my puppy, and fosters here, they are amazing , Dr. Feng saved my dogs ear! They are reasonable and show you prices upfront. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Very nice and friendly staff! Definitely a plus that they are very close to us but the service we received was beyond wonderful and we will make sure to bring our Lily and Lenny back for future check ups! 😸
