Dr. Jason and the rest of the staff were absolutely amazing. Kind, friendly, and nurturing to my 9wk old Goldendoodle puppy. They answered all my questions thoroughly, and showed such tender care during treatment. Plus, gave my puppers so much love & pets!

I strongly recommend not to send your pets to this place, their unprofessional decision will kill those adorable furry babies!!! The beginning of this year, there was a female doctor ignored that my dog had obviously heart issues and insisted on cleaning her teeth and pulled out four teeth without asking us for permission!!!! We picked up her same day, she was in a bad condition, they told us that caused by the anesthesia effect. Two days later we sent her to an emergency care, the doctor ask permission for mercy killing, we refused and brought her home. She survived that day and recovered after we gave her some liquid IV. But she still couldn’t make it until yesterday, she died in the kitchen when we got out for groceries, obviously she died due to a heart attack, recently she started coughing very bad day and night. What the hospital made us mad is that they knew my dog had heart illness and coughed bad that day, they still insisted on teeth cleaning procedures and they pulled her teeth out without telling us, the manager explained they had right to pull out teeth without telling the owners, new regulations…. my baby girl is dead now, we really hate those unprofessional people in this place!! If you want your pets die just go there!!!

I've never written a review for a vet, but I felt like this place deserves it. My Bourke Parrot Rambo was pretty sick the last 48hrs and looked pretty bad. I've had horrible experiences in the past trying to take my feathered friends somewhere I trust (took my parakeet to a local vet 2 weeks ago and he was dead less than 24hrs later)..so when I called last night to IVV I was really apprehensive. Dr. Bobula and the staff did an amazing job taking care of Rambo and getting him back to health! They were upfront about everything, talked about different diagnosis and care options, and actually gave him the time and care he deserved. I feel that exotic pets get a bad rap at vets as not being as important as cats and dogs, but at IVV it really felt like they cared for all the animals the same and gave attention to care for every patient. I drove over 30miles to come to this place for an emergency visit and Im glad I did. I would highly recommend them for anyone concerned for their birds. And no, price was not horrible considering the treatment. It's $185 baseline for all exotic exams, and then whatever else they decide to do..but honestly it was worth every penny to save this little guy. Less than 24hrs later in the first picture here and he looks like his old self with his meds. Thank you guys!!

Thank you for helping our family through the toughest decision. Even though we visited frequently the last two weeks and all the tests came back not ideal…or getting worse…I was never once suggested anything but positive options. I am so glad we found your services and your staff were wonderful and attentive. Ty for kissing Jojo goodbye for us! As for the logistics, prices were fair and I did not feel pressured to do anything extra. The membership was also a great option and made sense for my situation. I am grateful to have found this Vet and felt that Jojo was in good hands till the very end.

This group handled many dog emergencies (at their 24 hour sister location) and had the most excellent service. I moved to the bay area and today I needed my dogs records sent. The receptionist named Nicole handled it excellently and lived up to the high standard of customer service previously provided. Im a little bummed not having these guys as my dog doctors. I asked them specifically if they knew any group up here in the bay that has such great customer service like they do. That's how good they are. Highly recommend.

So, this is about my 4 legged son Groot aka BUBBA. Osteoarthritis most likely torn ccl’s, but my guy really started showing signs of being in real pain a couple months ago now. We swore we’d never make an appt and leave the great crew at the emergency hospital - but never say never and we are so glad we finally "made an sppt" and came in. Everyone there is just as awesome but i really want to shout out 4 people in particular: Lionnah! You’re awesome I already told you but here im saying it so all your managers know how special Groot snd i felt this last time in particular. Uou guys were behind, it happens, but uou slways made sure we wrre good and my guy was, well we both were a mess!! Lol STEPHANIE! You’re awesome thank you for clarifying everything on our first visit there-awesome energy extremely cool and easy to talk to ELIZABETH! I think you said it was your first week on the job there and I had so many questions - all of which you handled perfectly I thought. If you didn’t know you told me so and then got the answer from someone who did. That’s awesome and how it should be. Last but not least! DR RAMOS!!!!! That’s our vet right there! She is awesome, absolute favorite. My guys first appt he wouldn’t stop farting - not trying to be gross but dude was making people woozy! She just got down on the floor with him and started petting him and stuff Groot loved her right away. Real quick; I read several reviews and as physicians/vets any provider of medical services, you can’t make everybody happy. But those negative reviews man…. WRONNNNNG!! And the excellent staff has names people! Cmon get with it. 🙂

I've never seen a vet scared of dogs before, but here we are. We took our husky/shepherd mix in for an exam and Dr. Ramos came in looking and acting like someone who suffers from legitimate PTSD of dogs. (If this is actually the case and she was attacked by a different dog, I can empathize with her, but treating my dog poorly because of it is unacceptable to me.) My dog showed ZERO signs of aggression, and was gently eating the treats offered. Dr. Ramos didn't even try touching him, but within 90 seconds said she needed to take him to the back to MUZZLE him. I replied by saying, "whatever you need to do to be comfortable". However, EVERY other vet/vet tech my dog has ever met has loved him for how sweet he is. He was doing great with IVVH's vet tech as well. 2 minutes later I hear my dog scream like he's never screamed before, and after they brought him into the exam room for our help I'd never seen him so scared, or heard him breath so hard out of fear. I've also never heard him growl the way he did while Dr Ramos was squeezing anal glands. I've seen groomers do a better job of doing this. She should NOT be around large dogs WHATSOEVER. Shout out to the front desk woman and the vet tech on duty though. They're the only reason I gave 2 stars. Whoever owns this place needs to give them both a raise. They handled my irate attitude with empathy, and I tried to make sure they understood that I was not mad at them.
