Absolutely wonderful experience! Went in on an emergency and now will definitely not go anywhere else! Incredibly thorough and explained everything! Treated my 15yo Chihuahua with options just like any other doggo! 24 hours later he is 100% better! Dr. Alex Kellum was the Vetrenarian we saw and I loved her! New to Huntsville and thrilled to find such a friendly and caring clinic for my chihuahua. Saturday appointments, check out/pay in the exam room instead of at the counter, online scheduling of appointments and reminder texts make it so easy for me. Got a basic exam, some vaccines and a heartworm test. No pressure for anything extra. Dr. Ashley was great as was the vet tech and the desk receptionist. Wonderful experience!

I brought my bird, Bubba, to the vet, and Ashley was wonderful with him. I really appreciated the price, and I also got a test done for him. Plus, I received a first-time discount, which was a huge bonus as a student!

6-4-2026 I took one of my cats in for digestive problems. They were wonderful with her. Checked everything out and gave her a prescription for probiotics. The staff is knowledgeable and professional. I highly recommend Valley Animal Hospital. 5-11-2026 I took my cats in for their yearly check-up and shots. (My previous vet recently closed.)Dr. Alex covered all my concerns! She is EXTREMELY knowledgeable about my sphynx cats and their unique problems. I can't say enough good things about this practice. Everyone was friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable.

Dr. Roeder performed CCL surgery on my Beagle (mix) Lucy. It was our first time at VAH and everyone was wonderful! I’m so impressed with the level of communicated and follow-up. They took special care of Lucy-who had a lot to "say" about it in her loud Beagle voice! I highly recommend them!

This was our first visit. The team was very thorough with their exams of my two dogs and spent time asking about their health and answering my questions. I appreciated the quality of care that my dogs received. The cost was a little more than with the previous vet, but I wanted a place that would provide more attention to their health and to my questions. So think it will be worth it.

Better than I expected. This is our first pet experience, so I was a bit nervous about being overcharged or taken advantage of because pur lack of knowledge. But we were pleasantly surprised by first how the office didn't smell like dog, and by how accommodating they were to our newness and the children. The tech was great, and I like how they take the dog into another area to perform the care. We appreciated all of the advice and care that the Vet gave us, and it was an experience that solidified where we would go for his care. Very reasonable and competitive prices for puppy care, which was good but it was the other stuff that made it a very pleasant and enjoyable experience.
