Jackson killed our puppy not quite a year. Died at approximately 2:00-2:30 Jackson isn’t sure. Requested records denied have to get permission from the insurance company have heard from Jackson in over a week . She confessed it’s her error it was a mechanical issue . The lady is heartless, callous with no hint of a soul. Talking with a gym member explained the situation Jackson killed his dog two weeks prior went in for an ear problem over sedated his dog. He took a payout for $1800. We want no monies Jackson needs to be disbarred and charged. Dogs are part of your family do not I repeat do not use Jackson even for the bathroom. We are getting a necropsy to find out and get answers. Jackson doesn’t cure animals she kills them. I count four deaths that’s what we are aware people who have lost their loved ones from Jackson need to contact Alabama certified board of Veterinarian. Download a complaint that’s the only way Jackson will be held accountable.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! Vet missed a diagnosis on my cat who had cancer and passed away. It couldve been caught by this vet as we paid for extensive testing and bloodwork done but was told she was 100% healthy. 2 months later she has now passed away to cancer and new vet claimed she had it for multiple months. If you want your animal to die and not get the help that it needs then this is the place.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE!!!!! That vet doesn’t know what she is doing at all! My cat Scoobie went to be neutered and she was fine when she went in. I come to get her and her head was bent backwards. We believe she gave her too much anesthesia. She is all about money just wants more and more money. After she did that to Scoobie she was dumb enough to think I would pay her more money. She also likes to argue with people. Scoobie passed hours after leaving this clinic. Mrs. Jackson is the worst vet I have ever seen!

We just adopted Betsy and she was taken here to get fixed. We have returned twice since and all 3 times the vet assistants and front desk personnel were very kind, helpful, and thorough. The veterinarian there (pardon me for not catching her name) is very friendly and genuine. You can tell she really cares for animals and their owners. We will switch our other 2 dogs and 2 cats to this vet office. Keep up the great work!

I have taken my pets to this clinic for about the last decade, and up until recently had an awesome experience- but after my last visit I will NOT be taking my animals back and I don’t advise anyone else take their fur babies! My elderly pitty had an extreme allergic flare up, where her eyes became discolored, and she had swelling in her lips and face. She looked horrid and I was scared. I went into an office with the rudest tech I have ever encountered! I explained my dog’s symptoms, and her first response was, "well she is an old dog" as if to insinuate she didn’t have long to live anyways, which pissed me completely off. My dog has always been skep at the vet, but the previous techs were kind, patient, and sweet to her - which takes more time out of their day but puts me and my pitty at ease. I was asked to muzzle my dog & put a cone on her, it was as if the tech didn’t want to be bothered with my pet and she didn’t even try to assist! It was SO bad to the point I had to explain to her if she can’t exude a level of patience and kindness with animals then she’s in the wrong profession. I was then asked to come back and pick up my animal and give her sedation medication over the next 24 hours so they would be able to do the exam - not an issue I had ever run into before with this office, but hey at this point I’m willing to do whatever it takes to get my dog examined. It was also odd to me that they were not able to examine my dog, as I’ve taken her for full workups and groomings without this issue. I returned the next day with my pet and after spending the entire day at the clinic, I’ll return to a lackluster explanation of what could possibly be wrong with my animal, and vet report card reflecting $800 worth of medication‘s and test they think should be performed without any explanation to what the testing or medication’s do or if they were a necessity at that time (I expressed to them I just spent $400 at the emergency vet and would like to proceed with any medication’s or tests That they think are only 100% necessary) I also addressed my dogs enlarged lymph nodes and when asked about the lymph nodes or if they had any additional information in reference to that, it’s almost as if it wasn’t even addressed in her check up. I was discharged again by that very rude tech that I had an interaction with the day before, and she was very nasty, had an attitude, and acted as if she just couldn’t be bothered with me or my pet. I was so upset with this experience. I went home, Calmed down, and called about 48 hours later, in tears, to express my grievances. The only people at that facility who seemed to care Is the young lady who works the receptionist desk now that Miss Edwards is gone, and the vet tech who grooms my pet (I think his name is Javon). They didn’t even have enough decency or Common courtesy to follow up on my complaints, But have the audacity to call and text me about annual shots.I am truly hurt behind this, as I have always appreciated the service I’ve received, and the owner is a very pleasant woman - but I DO NOT recommend.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the most frustrating veterinary experiences I have ever had. My dog tested positive for heartworms on March 31. At that time, the fast-kill treatment was discussed. In early May, I decided to pursue the slow-kill protocol due to financial limitations and communicated that decision to the clinic multiple times by phone, when I picked up medications, and again at check-in for this appointment. I was told chest x-rays were required before medication could be prescribed. I secured financing, followed all medication instructions exactly as directed, and repeatedly informed the clinic that my 100+ pound Dutch Shepherd is reactive when separated from me. The clinic provided a muzzle and cone before taking him to the back, and I even assisted staff with obtaining his weight. After my dog was taken to the back, I was left believing the x-rays were being completed. Instead, I later learned they had never been completed at all because my dog was stressed and could not be placed on the table. What is unacceptable to me is that nobody informed me when this problem first occurred. Instead, I sat waiting under the impression that everything was going according to plan while my dog remained stressed in the back and I was being pushed yet again toward the fast-kill treatment I had already declined multiple times. Had I been informed immediately, we could have discussed sedation or other options before my dog spent an unnecessary amount of time becoming increasingly stressed. Instead, valuable time was wasted, my dog was unnecessarily stressed, and I administered medications to my dog for an appointment that never accomplished its intended purpose. To make matters worse, Dr. Jackson incorrectly stated that I had changed the treatment plan "today," despite the fact that I had communicated my decision weeks earlier on multiple occasions. Rather than acknowledging a communication breakdown, the conversation became argumentative and confrontational. I felt talked down to, blamed, and repeatedly pressured to change a treatment decision that had already been clearly communicated. I understand that not every dog cooperates and that not every procedure can be completed successfully. My issue is not that the x-rays failed. My issue is the lack of communication, the unnecessary stress placed on my dog, the repeated pressure to pursue a treatment I had already declined, the unprofessional attitude I experienced, and being charged for a visit that left me without the x-rays or treatment plan I came in for. I left with a stressed dog, no x-rays, no treatment plan, and no confidence in the care or professionalism I received. I will not be returning.
