Animal Medical Center of Highland Village

It was an easy visit with my older miniature poodle. He was very frightened at first since he remembers this place as the location where he is dropped off for boarding. After the appointment started and everyone was so friendly and excited to see him, he warmed up and before you know it, we were on our way home.

I highly recommend this vet, they’ve seen both of my dogs (pitbull/black mouth cur & cattle dog mix) and they were so sweet with them. Both need surgery, one has already gotten it. They did a really great job explaining everything, being so sweet to my dogs, and making the whole process easier. They listened to our concerns and went out of their way to help us. It was nice that I could work a normal schedule because they have appointments early in the morning and later in the evening. No bias against my pittie and saw her for the sweet dog she is. I highly recommend for surgery and regular vet care. They take care credit and scratch pay.

While boarded for the 3-day holiday weekend, my 11-year old shepherd mix Matilda developed an ear infection in which the subsequent scratching developed a hematoma in the left ear that needed drained and a prescription of daily ear drops and steroids. The staff at Animal Medical Center of HV were so kind and patient with Matilda, not to mention dealing effectively with my stress. Despite the need for the "cone of shame" the treatment and follow up care has Matilda back to her old self resting and begging for snacks with her sister.

Dr Watson was wonderful. Everyone here was friendly and helpful. Vaccines, check up and Skin allergies were addressed. Will be back

Highland Village Animal Medical Center is the best! We have been bringing our furry babies there for 20+ years. We moved to Denton two years ago and still make the drive to HV because of the outstanding care and love they provide. Everyone there is outstanding, from doctors, to technicians to front desk. And Dr. Lorien Schoelkopf is so very gentle with our 14 year old Schnauzer/Poodle and our 7 year old Australian Cattle dog/American Staffordshire. Love these folks!! Always thankful for their outstanding care.

The front staff was friendly. Especially the girl to check us out. My appointment was at 4:40, so the girl that checked us in was different than one who checked us out. The Vet tech was super friendly. She was gentle with Pearl and I loved that. Dr. Watson was also wonderful! Thank you for making my skiddish big ole baby very comfortable!

We absolutely LOVE all the pet caregivers and veterinary doctors at Animal Medical Center of Highland Village! They truly care and are efficient, communicative, and kind to us and our kitty. I wouldn't go anywhere else and recommend them without hesitation.
