This vet hospital has saved our dog Charlies life. I brought my nine coonhound puppies. They’ve taken very good care of them for their vaccines and first puppy visits. I take my cat Jack Frost here just overall a welcomed experience. The Front Desk is helpful and so kind and I can’t thank this facility enough for taking care of my babies. Thank you so much.

If I could give Dr. Ahmed 10 stars, I absolutely would. I have known Dr. Ahmed for nearly 25 years, and throughout those years, he has helped my family more times than I can count. Long ago, one of my kittens had her arm bitten off by a dog. The moment Dr. Ahmed saw her, he did not hesitate. He immediately got the medication she needed, treated her with compassion, removed the injured limb, and worked with me on the cost. His response in that moment told me everything I needed to know: he would be my vet for life. There have been countless times over the years when he treated my pets first, without making my ability to pay the priority. His heart is truly in the care and compassion he shows for the patients he serves. As the years went on and my ability to afford animal care improved, he of course charged me appropriately, but I have never met another veterinarian who so genuinely puts the well-being of his patients first. Today was another example of Dr. Ahmed taking care of my family, and I am deeply honored to call him and his staff family. I know not everyone’s experience will be the same, but I also know there are hundreds of other stories just like mine, stories of him caring for animals with the same love, urgency, and compassion that we have for our own fur babies. Dr. Ahmed is a rare kind of veterinarian, and I am incredibly grateful for him.

I have rescued almost about 15 pet ..im not rich far from it...I have been to this hospital..and let me lett u guy they have been very helpful with all of my need..both Vet doctor are very caring nd helpful..rescued 3 with very sick one with a broken leg she was under a pound..but doctor Ve saved her where some one else would have put her to sleep..im for ever grateful..

Dr Ahmed is a long time vet who is equally skilled as he is knowledgable, one of "THE Best" in the High Desert! He has cared for our now fifth dog. All of them having experienced an unexpected life threatening illness or incident, Dr. ahmed restored their health. I really appreciate his split days between scheduled appointments and walk-ins. So, if something happens and your animal needs to be seen you can get in and not have to wait until 6 pm for the Ridgecrest ER to open. He also accepts CareCredit. I have been using Hesperia Animal Hospital for almost 30 years and they have cared for more than 40 of my animals. Dr. Ahmed and Dr.B are the most caring and knowledgeable vets I have used. They take the time to listen to concerns that you have, And are always willing to help you, strategize on the best care to give your pet. They are also one of the most price conscientious vets I have run into in the high desert. One of my dogs was very sick and Dr. Ahmed came in on a Sunday to check on her and then give me an update. The doctors and staff are always very caring. when it has been time to have to make a decision to say goodbye, they’ve always been very passionate and helpful. they are the vets I trust with all my heart to take care of my precious animals.

They've always been really good with all my dogs. The staff here has been with me in their puppy days and through their last days. They very friendly and caring for my 4legged babies and very compassionate towards me when I've had to let them "rest". Even keeping in touch with me months after their passing. I can’t say enough good things about Hesperia Animal Hospital. They truly saved my dog Cherry’s life. I rescued Cherry from a breeder who had bred her way too much, and by the time I got her, she was extremely sick and almost didn’t make it. I brought her in terrified, but from the moment we arrived, the care and compassion we received meant everything. Dr. Shafeeq Ahmed and Dr. Ballesteros were the doctors who performed surgery and helped save Cherry’s life. They both went above and beyond to care for her. They kept her longer to closely monitor her and made sure she was truly safe and stable before letting her come home, which gave me so much peace of mind. The entire staff was kind, supportive, and understanding during one of the scariest moments of my life as a pet parent. Because of them, Cherry is still here with me today.
