We had an exceptional experience at VEG during one of the most frightening nights of our lives as pet parents. Our dog was brought in after experiencing severe cluster seizures, and from the moment I walked through the door, I felt supported, informed, and genuinely cared for. The open-concept layout made a huge difference — being able to stay with our dog in a quiet, padded room overnight brought so much comfort. The facility itself is thoughtfully designed, from the clean bathroom facilities to the water and coffee station, which meant a lot while I was exhausted and overwhelmed. Most importantly, the medical team and staff were outstanding. I was an emotional wreck, and every person we interacted with was calm, compassionate, and incredibly professional. They took the time to explain everything clearly, were fully transparent about costs, and worked with us without any pushback or judgment. We felt like true partners in our dog’s care. What stood out most was how they cared for us just as much as they cared for our dog. They respected how deeply bonded we are to him, and that level of empathy alongside top-notch medical care meant everything to us. We are deeply grateful to the entire VEG team and would not hesitate to return or recommend them to anyone needing emergency care for a beloved pet. Happy to report our dog Zeke is back home and stable.

What started out as a nightmare before meeting the team of VEG turned into the exact opposite after meeting the staff at the door the moment I arrived. Upon arriving, the team was actually waiting at the door for my dog Selena to arrive, which made me feel calm and comfortable the moment I witnessed this. I would suggest anyone to give VEG a try if you haven’t already. The team is professional, courteous, thoughtful, and caring. I’ve never gotten all four of these things from one veterinarian ever! Dr. Neal Villanueva along with his staff dealt with me and my dog for two days, and it was the most pleasant experience. Even my dog showed appreciation by wagging her tail nonstop the entire time she was there, although she was in lots of pain when she arrived. I can’t thank this team enough. VEG, you all are the best!!🙏🏾❤️ 🦴 🤗

This place is the best if your fur baby needs help! Our 14 year old dog Izzy had been there before but last night she had a medical emergency from having multiple seizures from her epilepsy. My daughter and I decided it was time to let her go and rest in peace. Despite being busy, they made us feel like we were the only ones there. The entire staff was so kind, helpful and supportive and the doctor was on the floor with us and our dog until she took her last breath.

If I could give them 1 million stars, I would. Dr. Lorenza & her incredible team SAVED my 10-year old Doberman’s life. He showed symptoms of BLOAT, so I called the ER to give them a heads-up, & we rushed there. We were met IMMEDIATELY by staff to check in & confirm Roscoe’s diagnosis. Surgery was performed with care, and the doctor took all of my senior baby’s medical needs into account. I was able to stay in the hospital overnight in a private room with my baby as he recovered from Wednesday night all the way through Saturday afternoon. They provide snacks, coffee/espresso, & water as well. The nurses were so kind, & paid close attention to my baby both before & after surgery, & updated me along the way. You can tell the team really cares about animals. They are real-life super heroes. A simple THANK YOU will never convey how appreciative I am of them. They will assist you with applying for Care Credit as well, in case you need a spot before your pet insurance can reimburse you.

My dog was recently the victim of a horrific coyote attack in our own backyard. This facility’s rating is not near high enough, in my opinion! They deserve 5+ stars. My dog could not wait for medical attention or care, as his injuries were extensive, and he didn’t have to wait. WhenI brought him in, they yelled for triage and the action began, right in front of my eyes. The clinic is open floor plan. I could see all of his care and he could see me. Not only is ALL of the staff amazingly supportive, attentive, and kind, but their medical team is the best I’ve seen. Our surgeon, who performed two surgeries and provided critical care to my dog, was beyond impressive as a clinician, and her bedside manner was unsurpassed. I was included in every aspect of the treatment planning and all steps/charges were fully explained to me up front. If you ever have a pet who requires emergent care, this is the place to go! They saved my pet and are worth every penny.

Dr. Kat and Pumpkin’s nurse Kacy were absolutely amazing. You can see that they truly have a passion for what they do. Dr. Kat was very knowledgeable and helpful. They both treated Pumpkin with compassion and kindness. I have never had a more pleasant veterinary experience. I was extremely anxious regarding Pumpkin’s emergency and they made us both feel prioritized and comforted. I also loved the layout of the facility and everything was very clean and neat. I was invited to participate in each of Pumpkin’s procedures and tests, which greatly helped to calm both our nerves. I will absolutely recommend this practice to friends and family. Thank you so much for saving my baby’s life!

5/5! Hands down great experience and exactly what I wanted and needed. I brought my kitty Finn in the late evening from Kingman for emergency care and Oxygen. I went to another emergency clinic (Tropicana) and wasn't even greeted for 15 mins. At Veg Finn was triaged as soon as I walked in the door. Exactly what I wanted and he needed. I am in the Veterinary field and always thought ppl being with their pets the entire time was odd and could be problematic. I was wrong, It was one of the coolest experiences. You get to be with your baby while they are getting everything they need and you can sit and see why you are waiting, unlike other clinics, where you sit in a room with your pet or a waiting room while your pet is away from you. At Veg you can see while your are waiting, some coming through the door with their baby that was hit by a car or a cat that is crashing and needs life saving measures. They are awesome there! I was super impressed with Dr. Bishop and grateful for the care he gave my Finn. I left Finn there for about 48 hrs before having to move him to my primary care for more cost effective for me 🙁 And unfortunately My Baby Finn passed away. I wish I could have left him at VEG longer as he would have had a better chance. Thank you for all you do!
