I am incredibly grateful for the compassion and care shown to my senior dog, Eddie during a very frightening emergency. The team took the time to clearly explain how he was injured, what his condition meant, and what his care would involve, which brought so much reassurance during a moment when I felt completely helpless. Everyone was patient, kind, and truly empathetic, and the follow-up communication showed how deeply they care about both their patients and pet owners. I have never experienced such an exceptional level of care during an emergency, and I will always be thankful for the comfort and support they provided during such a difficult time. Thank you to each of you.
Dr. Farmer and her staff have treated my dog on several occasions. They have always been so very kind and compassionate. I truly believe my dog loves them. They have always provided excellent care and made me feel at ease knowing that she is being taken care of. I am so thankful that Dr Farmer opened up an Emergency Vet Clinic in our area after the others closed. If you find your pet needs help after your Vet is closed, KC Animal Emergency Vet is a great option. Thank you Dr Farmer for taking care of Lucy.
We want to thank everyone who helped us with our bunny Domino we went from us thinking he was dying to not. Thank goodness. He is doing perfect. You guys went out of your way to help. I will always remember how awesome everyone was with working with us!!
So incredibly grateful for the team at Kansas City Animal Emergency. We have been traveling cross country this week and yesterday my dog, Rodeo, began to faint and go limp after a few minutes at a local dog park. We rushed him to the clinic, and he was lucky to receive top tier care overnight for heat exhaustion. We are so appreciative of the measures the staff went through to ensure he was safe and treated properly. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our boy! He’s on the mend and feeling like himself again.
We came here with our 15 year old cat in respiratory distress. It was an hour until closing and we were still welcome with open caring arms. The staff was warm and kind. After discussing our options and the vet giving us her opinion, we ended up making the heartbreaking decision to let our sweet Allie go so she didn't suffer. The vet and assistant stayed an hour after closing to let us say goodbye and love on our girl. They never once made us feel rushed. While I hope we never need to come here again, I would absolutely choose to bring our other pets here for treatment and care
I brought in my girl around 10:48pm after she was having complications with cancer/medication. They quickly confirmed they would be able to help euthanize my baby despite having their last clients being seen. I was incredibly thankful for the front desk helping carrying my pup from the car to the comfortable room, laid towels down to ensure all of us were comfortable. Dr. Farmer and I believe their name was Sarah (I apologize to the kind person who placed her catheter if that’s not correct) I was quickly walked through everything and Dr. Farmer administered the medication needed to put my baby to rest as quickly as they could to relieve the pain while also allowing us to say our goodbyes and I love yous. They allowed my mother and I to remain in the room as long as we needed and helped us with the paperwork. I know my Jacey is in good hands despite never coming here prior to this. The immediate trust I had speaks volumes. Thank you for the generosity and strength you showed both myself and my mother when we had no strength left.
Guinea pig was urinating blood. They were able to see us after hours, we very patient and thorough when examining her and were able to determine what was wrong and how to help her. Everyone was very kind and treated her with care, especially Dr Farmer. They were also upfront about treatment costs and everything was very reasonably priced
