I started bringing my pup here in mid-2022 for a better treatment plan for a diagnosis he received from a different vet. This place is phenomenal. All the doctors, vet tech front office, and pharmacy personnel are incredible. My pup was quickly back to healthy again and we continued coming here until we moved out of state mid 2025. I will miss this place and can’t express enough gratitude for the care they provided for my pup.

Butters our barn cat broke his leg. They were able to expertly reduce and splint. We were so grateful for the service we experienced and kindness of the staff.

Just moved here a few months ago from out of state and needed to find a vet. As a vet tech of 15 yrs it is important to me to find a great hospital. I have been 3 times since moving here and each visit has been great. They are very organized, knowledgeable, and friendly. I appreciate their care to my pups. Communication after via text for lab results or refills is amazing as well. I would recommend to anyone! Thanks team for doing a great job- you are all appreciated for your hard work!

AAWC provided care for our dog Jax over the past 7 years. When his health unexpected declined last year, the staff was wonderful about investigating and helping us navigate his treatment. Dr. Schroeder was candid and compassionate about our options and checked in with us regularly about his health. When it came time to say goodbye, Emily and Dr. Hansen made the process peaceful and loving. We're forever grateful to all of the staff at AAWC and will certainly be returning when the time comes for our family.

Our animals are truly family, and the care they receive should reflect that level of love. We’ve been bringing our pets to AAWC—specifically Dr. Ford—for 15–20 years, and I can honestly say the care has been second to none. From routine visits to more specialized services like physical therapy, acupuncture, ozone therapy, and laser treatments, every experience has been exceptional. The team always takes the time to thoroughly explain options, answer every question, and never makes us feel rushed when making important decisions. Over the years, we’ve also had to say goodbye to several beloved pets. Those moments are incredibly difficult, but the compassion, respect, and dignity shown by the entire staff made all the difference. They’ve truly been there with us through it all—even sharing in our grief. I don’t know how they do what they do, but they are genuinely angels. I will forever sing the praises of AAWC, Dr. Ford, and their incredible team of techs and front desk staff. There is simply no place I trust more with our animals.

It has taken me some time to write this review as I have been grieving the loss of my sweet Pepper and I knew writing this would draw up some emotions. I have nothing but kind words to say about Arizona Animal Wellness Center. I started taking my cat there when I first moved to the area in 2022. My cat had been losing weight and Banfield didn't do much digging into what was wrong. The problem was solved on my first visit here. It was determined that he had a hyperactive thyroid which was easily treatable with meds. About a year later, he was diagnosed with kidney disease and anemia (related to the kidney disease). Treating the anemia required regular vet visits. From summer 2023-Sept 2025, my cat had VERY frequent visits at the clinic. For a month he was there 2-3x per week and then we went down to twice monthly visits and eventually spread out to every other month-ish. I give all of that detail to say, EVERY member of the staff that I encountered here was friendly, helpful and frankly became like family to me. You would think that in 3 years someone would have a bad day or be unfriendly toward me or another client. Not here. And trust me, I spent TONS of time in their lobby. Dr. Chema was our main doctor. I knew she would be my favorite when she took me seriously about a drug for anemia that had just been FDA approved that could be administered at home. She actually read the study that I shared with her and helped me get my hands on the med. It ended up not working as well as the in-office treatment but she heard me out and gave me the pros/cons and allowed me to have some autonomy in my cat's treatment. She was also very fair, honest, and always made me feels she truly cared about my pet. She helped me determine courses of treatment that also considered the financial cost as well. In the end, I had to take my Pepper to an ER vet because it was Sunday and he took his last breaths there. The next day Dr. Chema called me to give her condolences and about a week later I received a card with a special note from each member of the staff that worked with Pepper. I mean, I seriously doesn't get better than that. It was beyond thoughtful! My sweet Pepper was 19 years old. I truly believe that with the help of this clinic, I was able to have as healthy as possible last 2 years with him. I had peace of mind every step of the way that I was doing what was best for my cat's treatment thanks to all the wonderful people here! I am so grateful to have found this clinic and would return if I ever get another pet in the future!

I tried to write a review on the pets best insurance sight but it would not save you in there. There seems to be a glitch in the sight. Maybe check that out. I am glad I could come on here and express our love for how well you took care of Leia our dog. From the first visit with the initial vet trying to determine what kind of injury Leia had, to Dr Colton explaining everything to us in detail on what was wrong and how he was going to fix it, we could not have been any happier. Everyone in the staff was so gentle and loving with Leia and helped calm a dog that is a little skittish at times, being a rescue dog. You all made us feel like family and that you were going to treat Leia like she was one of your own. Dr Colton made us feel like Leia was in the best of hands and his calm demeanor made Leia feel that way also. You went out of your way to check up on Leia and see how she was feeling, and were always there if we had a question or concern. Thank you for allowing us to have a great experience, during a stressful time. You have always made us feel that way whenever we have brought in either one of our two dogs. Our dogs our like our kids and to know we have a place down the road from us that we can trust with our precious dogs, is an awesome feeling. If my wife and I could give you ten stars, we most certainly would. Thank you for treating our Leia with love and compassion. You guys are the best!!
