Rosie's first visit to Dr Ying was very thorough, the intention was to get a holistic doctor's opinion on her recent Cushings diagnosis. Rosie's forwarded medical files were carefully reviewed, and it was suggested to start Rosie on her already waiting prescription of Vetoryl. Rosie also has a moderate case of calcemia cutis which can accompany Cushings- thus echoing the need for Vetoryl. Dr Ying also prescribed two supplements she uses to help support Cushings dogs and a third which I could obtain elsewhere. Our consult was about an hour and it gave me the time to go over all my questions and feel assured about the plan to take up in dealing with Cushings. I will have the follow up blood work done locally with Rosie's regular vet at Pender Fairfax and share results with Dr Ying. I am grateful to have Dr Ying and Holistic Veterinary Healing on Rosie's medical team with Pender.

Last year we adopted our beloved 13 yr. old Molly, who came to us with late stage kidney disease and passed away within 5 months. I credit Holistic Veterinary Healing with helping us make her comfortable during that time, and I think that, without them, Molly wouldn’t have had quality time as she neared death. These folks are brilliant vets and kind souls. We take all four of our pets to them and trust them greatly. It’s a different kind of practice, and all pets can benefit from their superb approach. Try them. You won’t be disappointed and they will improve how you think about veterinary health.

My Lucy, a beautiful Shorkie was born with underdeveloped kidneys, fed kidney friendly food, eleven years later her doctor sent her to hospice. Lucy could have lived many years longer had Dr Deb Mallu had treated her from the onset. Last year Dr Deb began treating Lucy and immediately gave her a new lease in life. Administering UVB Ozone treatments. The gift of life and time is priceless. Our trips from NYC to Maryland twice a month to see Dr Deb for treatment were the best time I got to spend with my Lucy. The treatments extended her life. Her quality of life and healthy living was outstanding! I am forever grateful to Dr Deborah Mallu, Kim, Julie, Georgina, Susan and Dear Tory who were instrumental in getting Lucy her first appointment and the entire staff at Holistic Veterinary Healing. Dr Deb's comprehensive holistic approach combined with traditional medicine works. I am a testimony of how well Lucy recovered and lasted more than I asked for. Sadly, my beloved Lucy passed away in August of this year. In search of a new doggie family on the horizon, I look forward to working with Holistic Veterinary Healing again. Thank you all for your heartfelt help.

Had a nice experience at Holistic Veterinary Healing. My cat was diagnosed with oral squamous cell carcinoma and I wanted to treat her with alternative medicine after a traditional vet presented only two options - surgery or euthanization. Holistic Vet thankfully offers a blood ozone treatment for cancer. My cat received two sessions and I think it’s made all the difference. I’ve since found a vet much closer in distance that offers the same treatment. However I’m thankful I was able to start my cat on her holistic treatment right away with Holistic Veterinary. The only thing missing for me was better responsiveness to emails and support. Having a sick pet can be stressful and I wasn’t always able to get follow up advice from Dr. Ying. More support and follow up would’ve been appreciated.

I've been going to HVH for years now. The level of care, professionalism, honesty, and love is truly amazing. Their #1 goal is the health and well-being of your animal. I HIGHLY recommend HVH.

I'm super grateful I gave this place a try. My 2 yr old belgian malinos can be rather difficult at the vet. Especially with shots. We have had 2 amazing visits. Robin was able to give his shot today without any complaints from Axel. At this visit you would have never known how difficult shots have been previously. So kind an patient with him!

Our wire fox terrier, Happy, was rushed to the emergency vet hospital and was diagnosis with invasive adenocarcinoma. He had a cancerous tumor removed from his intestines. Due to the type of cancer, the surgeon gave Happy only three months to live since chemo has little effect and this cancer spreads fairly quick. We took Happy to see Dr. Deb and she put him on a holistic cancer fighting system. It has been 11 months since the operation and Happy's quality of life is still great. Happy had a second surgery last month for eating part of a toothbrush that would not pass. We had the same surgeon. He told us he was so surprised to see that the cancer did not spread. He advised that Happy is beating the odds for prognosis and life expectancy. I thank Dr. Deb for this.
