Great care and bedside manner. We have been desperate to find a good cat specialist after moving to Kent from issaquah. This is hands down the best ones we’ve found yet in Washington. They’ve done two neuters for us as well as a surgery on an injured stray. Staff is warm, friendly and knowledgeable. So grateful to have them nearby.

I realized I have never reviewed The Cat Doctor for how he helped my cat Fizzgig. She had a Femoral Head Ostectomy (FHO) in 2019!!! It is now 2026 and she is still holding strong, as if it never happened. I do remember the surgery and think of it often. The entire staff was incredible through the entire experience. I would reccomend them to anyone.

The front desk is very thorough asking questions and the doctors have always reads the notes and medical history from other vets. Our senior tabby has had skin/allergy issues for years and each vet we've been to in the past never put a fraction of the effort to get to the bottom of his issues like this clinic did. The doctor spent 40 minutes just chatting with us about treatment/diagnostic options and took the time to listen and respond to each of our concerns. They are more expensive than any vet we have gone to in the past, but it's worth every penny seeing our handsome boy finally relaxed and not in extreme discomfort ❤️

I had such a wonderful experience at this cat clinic. The staff were all incredibly friendly and professional. Doctor Sierra Todd was very kind and clearly very knowledgeable. My Zhuzha is a bit unusual scotch fold but she treated her like a queen. She took extra time to examine her carefully and suggested additional checks to make sure we had clear answers, instead of just rushing us out. I truly appreciate the care, patience, and attention we received. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone who wants their cat to be treated with real love and respect

Dr Nettie is the best vet I have ever had for my cats. I now live three hours away, since my cat Romeo does well in the car, I seriously considered not changing vets. I am, but my new vet has some very large shoes to fill. All the staff are great at the Cat Doctor, I hope the practice continues to thrive.

About a year ago we took our cat to her usual vet when she started vomiting and having diarrhea frequently. He prescribed steroids. Her condition didn't improve so we took her to The Cat Doctor, where I had taken a previous cat. They did blood and urine tests and discovered the steroids had given her diabetes. The Cat Doctor prescribed insulin, but didn't address the vomiting and diarrhea, instead telling us to bring her back in a week. When we brought her back, she no longer had diabetes but was still vomiting and having diarrhea. The doctor told us to try changing her diet. When that didn't help, the doctor had her x-rayed. She told us she didn't know what was wrong and would need to do an ultrasound and it would cost $4k. We couldn't afford that, so for this entire year we've been doing our best to manage it with probiotics, diet and over the counter medication. We managed to significantly reduce the vomiting, but her diarrhea has gotten extremely worse, food is going right through her and she's hungry all the time. She clearly feels terrible. I called around to numerous vets, emergency rooms, urgent cares, and a veterinary diagnostic imaging service. I found out that an ultrasound costs only $750. When I spoke with the receptionist at The Cat Doctor, she confirmed the price. But since it's been a year, they want us to do all the same tests again (blood, urine, fecal, glucose and xrays) in addition to the ultrasound. So basically, we paid a bunch of money for almost nothing, didn't get the ultrasound she needed because we were misquoted by over $3k, our cat has been suffering for a year, and now we have to pay for all the same things again plus the ultrasound, all because The Cat Doctor vet grossly misquoted the cost of an ultrasound. We've been offered no reduced costs for her care, or even an apology for the vet's mistake. Now, we have to wait 10 days for her appointment, and we're extremely worried about her health. I called 3 emergency rooms and numerous vets and was told they couldn't help because they don't do ultrasounds. I'm praying my cat survives long enough for her appointment with The Cat Doctor. I found a couple of urgent cares that might do ultrasounds in house, just hoping my cat won't need urgent care before her appointment because we simply can't afford it.

DO NOT GO HERE. STAY AWAY IF YOU LOVE YOUR ANIMAL. Worst vet ever. No empathy. They prey on clients for visit fees but dont help your animal. Utimately did not ever fully resolve concerns for us after 2 years or more of medicinal trials our cat got worse. We'd called numerous times and they barely ever answer we the phone. Appointments are scheduled way far out so good luck if you have a concern. Have been on hold for longer than 20 minutes at least 4 times and two of those times I drove over and they were standing around talking and not answering the phone after telling me they were very busy yet there was no one in the office when I arrived! Our cat has SUFFERED because of them. They should be sued for malpractice. The last straw was us calling to schedule an appointment for an ongoing issue that come to find out they made worse, but they wouldnt see us unless we did a wellness visit because they didnt count all the other visits as wellness. Ridiculous!! They didnt take things serious so it costed us hundreds more in visits elsewhere while we kept our appointment with them. Friends of ours who are vets out of state made comments about this place and said there seems to be something wrong. After a couple frustrating final phone calls to tell them they weren't helping our cat we gave them one last chance but the day before the appointment they called to cancel it for no reason except they were acting maliciously and spitefully based on the last interaction. This was after the front desk clerk on the last call kept saying "whatever" and playing victim on the last call to my mother. If you've gone to a place for years and they let your animal suffer after a proven record of their failures and cost you hundreds there AND elsewhere youd have every right to be upset! Theyre horrible people who shouldnt be in business. We should have known they were terrible-theyre in a crappy little shopping center next to a Little Ceasars Pizza- they cant even afford to be in a real building. Stay away...someone else on google said they killed their cat due to complacency! THEY KILLED SOMEONES CAT!! AWFUL!
