The Visiting Veterinarian

Dr. Newsome has been taking care of all my animals for the past 10 years. The loving support that we received when our fur babies passed & the continued care of our new babies, that’s why this will be the only vet we use. The staff is amazing, from remembering names & being so caring. Can’t wait to continue our journey with Dr. Newsomes son!

We had a great experience with the vet. He took wonderful care of our rat during tumor removal surgery, and the price was great. He was kind, professional, and even removed the stitches later at no extra charge. We really appreciated the care and compassion shown to our little friend. Everyone at the office was super friendly. Highly recommend!

I cannot express how grateful and thankful I am to the doctors and team that work here! They are always so understanding and kind, and truly have the best at heart when it comes to your pets. They are affordable and very knowledgeable; being able to identify the root of a problem that 5 other veterinarians dismissed as "allergies" and "stomach issues". I know that when I leave my babies with this team, they are going to treat them like their own. Anytime I hear someone say they are looking for a vet or not happy with the one they are seeing, I am quick to give them the visiting vets number!

Dr. Newsome, Dr. Cobb, and Dr. Derek are all excellent veterinarians and go above and beyond for the care of their furry patients. The techs are always so excited to see our pups. My family all bring their pets to this practice and I always make sure to recommend their services when we can. A few years ago, the whole team saved the life of my dog Eerie, who had to have a couple of emergency surgeries. They took such great care of her and made sure to call and check in on her in the days during her recovery. They prioritize their patients and always work to get them in when there’s an emergency. I couldn’t recommend this practice enough!

We can’t recommend the Visiting Vet enough! They have taken such great care of our fur babies and we won’t go anywhere else ❤️ Minnow and Nova also agree! They saved our Minnow when she had major back problems and we’ll forever be grateful.

recently experienced the heartbreaking loss of my 13-year-old cat due to mammary cancer, and my initial visit to the clinic for euthanasia was very distressing. There were significant issues with communication, the handling of my cat, and the overall level of compassion and professionalism during such a sensitive moment, which made an already painful experience even more difficult. However, after sharing my concerns, the situation was kindly and thoughtfully addressed by the owner, Dr. Newsome. He was incredibly compassionate, took the time to listen to my experience, and offered genuine support. He also took my concerns seriously by speaking directly with the staff and addressing the situation with the contract veterinarian involved, including reinforcing clinic policies and expectations. I truly appreciate the care and accountability Dr. Newsome showed in resolving the issue and working to ensure a better experience for others in the future.
