I love Neponset! Staff and vets are so kind and welcoming. I have a crazy Frenchie and sometimes feel bad for his attitude, but Neponset remains patient, kind, and loving! They are on the expensive side but it's worth it to make sure my paw baby is healthy.

Nothing but love for the staff at this place. I came here as a brand new first time dog owner. My girl was only 13 weeks old and I was still learning the ropes in 2022. Everyone there was not only EXTREMELY kind but eager to help me learn and share there experience with me. My dog was/ is very high strung and I relied heavily on pretty much every service they offered for the first couple of years and they were always there for me. I called them a lot in the first 6-9 months of my adoption with questions and concerns. They were there for me every step of the way even when I probably sounded like a crazy lady asking dumb questions about my dog's eating habits or whatever. My Luna always feels comfortable coming here whenever we get in the car and pull up to the building for anything she never feels anxious no matter the reason for the visit and some of the reasons have been pretty horrific, let me tell you. But I haven't had a bad experience yet that was due to any of the staff. They have been great at reassuring me and helping me to better understand my dog and what she needed to get and stay healthy. I truly love coming here.

I brought my cat for vaccines and was told to return for the second dose. I was not informed that the second visit would include another full wellness exam fee. I ended up paying over $400 for basic vaccines. The lack of transparency around pricing made me feel misled.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience. On 2/5/2026, I was informed that Neponset Animal Hospital would no longer provide care for my dog. This was completely unexpected and confusing, as I had never requested to terminate care. In fact, I contacted the office specifically because I had received notices from Neponset Animal Hospital stating that my dog was due for a routine visit and vaccinations. During my call to schedule that appointment, I was told by, Amanda S, that our account had been closed and that the practice was not accepting new patients. However, another receptionist stated that the hospital was accepting new patients, which made the refusal to schedule my dog even more contradictory and frustrating. At no point were we informed of any issue, concern, or reason that would justify discontinuing care. There was no advance notice, no explanation, and no discussion—just an abrupt refusal to schedule care after prompting us to do so. While this situation is deeply frustrating, in hindsight it aligns with a consistent pattern. On multiple occasions when I called seeking emergency care, we were refused, and the quality of our interactions noticeably declined after we voiced concerns. Unfortunately, this experience reflects a lack of transparency, consistency, and professionalism that pet owners should be able to rely on when seeking veterinary care.

PLEASE READ AND LOOK CAREFULLY BEFORE BRING YOUR PET HERE I took him to this place a few days ago and I was shocked when I picked him up. My pup was shaking, scared and depressed. He had a wound on his balls which I did not noticed until I got home. Both of his ears were so dirty and one of them was bleeding. I gave them a call to ask about the problem and they said it was normal. The way they did and answered my phone was really irresponsible and careless. They totally did not care what happened to my pup. The groomer was unprofessional as well. She knew it but she hides it from us and pretend like nothing happened. I feel so guilty for leaving my pup here. If you love your pet and want them to be safe just stay away from this place. This place is so awful!
