Had an excellent first visit today. Dr. Wimber was extremely helpful and took the time to answer any questions and provided great information and advice. Everyone I met, James at the front desk and the vet techs, were kind, helpful and knowledgeable. I appreciate the excellent care today and so did my pup. By the end of the visit, he was more comfortable in the vet's office (who isn't nervous going to the doctor?) and left wagging his tail. The treats, kind folks and great care really helped him feel more comfortable. Thank you, Hancock Animal Hospital Team! ❤️
Been coming here since 2016. Have always been there for my pets and I during the good and the bad times. Know that they are a small office and have their limitations before going in and you will be satisfied.
Not recommended. I came here for my cat’s neuter. Before making the appointment, I clearly requested a neuter service, and they told me the cat just needed a checkup first, and if everything looked fine, the neuter could be done. However, after we arrived, they said we must wait until their neuter schedule opens — and that the cat must have a rabies vaccine by law. Since it was my first time at VCA, I just followed their advice. The bill came to $183 just for the checkup and vaccine. Later I searched online and found that most VCA locations include the rabies vaccine in their neuter package. That means I’ll have to pay twice for the same thing. Their neuter price is $800, which is much higher than the market average.
Wonderful staff! James is so nice and helpful. My puppy Sam loves them all. Great knowledgeable vets, that offer advice and support! Highly recommend.
We take all of our dogs here 🙂 Sadly our sweet pup Ralph passed away in November. Everyone at Hancock was so kind and comforting through a very difficult time.
All my kids have gone and goes to Hancock. Best Vet around. Why ? They listen...
Been a client for nearly eighteen years. Very highly skilled and knowledgeable staff. Natural alternatives to modern medicine are always provided for consideration. Facility is clean and conveniently located. Waiting area is comfortable with an abundance of sunlight, as are the exam rooms. Wouldn't bring my dogs elsewhere!
