The team at Hermosa Vet saved my 13-year-old cat Puff’s life. They performed life-saving surgery at a cost that made it possible to say yes in a critical moment. I gladly drive 45 minutes because I trust them. Every extra day with Puff is a gift because of their care.

I wouldn't even rate it a 1. Customer service was poor. Pets are like humans you treat them as so AS WELL AS THERE OWNERS. They go in for treatments you do it with all the ability you learned to care for these animals. The place is so busy they rush u in and out because the work load is busy. The techs need to interact with the animals as so the doctors who are there by treating them with a smile and compassion. We were given false information and a puppy wrap that looks like a 5 year old did it. Pets need GOOD TREATMENT TO HEAL PROPERLY. If it takes Raising the price a little to take pride in what you do, do so. You do go off assumption on what you think is wrong and give false information, Like I said puppy's are like humans. ** update 3** they deleted there response however have a screenshot of there response i will be posting it soon. **update update ** im glad they made the comment they did yes it was a in your words very sick cat possible kidney failure also diabetes and even renal failure, at which the doctorsaid lets do almost 400 worth of tests not once saying or offing to put the cat to rest ,(over 13 years old and in your word very sick and i agree very sick) the doctorsays well we are a business too... i have contacted D.O.R.A. and state attorney general with a full complaint. And the owner did not write that ..** update after assurance from employees that management would call me, no one ever did no going to contact the state to check on the licensing and the clinic its self there are a lot of complaints recently about animals dieing. I cannot begin to express how grateful I am to the entire team at this clinic. My dog, Toby, had stopped eating for 3–4 days, and I was terrified. From the moment we walked in, the front desk staff were kind & welcoming The doctor and veterinary team acted quickly and treated Toby with so much care and compassion. They performed an abdominal exploratory surgery and truly went above and beyond to make sure he was safe and comfortable. Their professionalism, empathy, and constant communication helped calm my fears and made me feel like Toby was in the best hands possible. Thanks to them, my baby is still here with me. I will never forget what they did for us. I am beyond thankful for their dedication and kindness—this team truly saved my Toby’s life. 💛🐾

No-nonsense vet clinic. Transparent pricing. Good care, compassionate and sensible people. If they tell you that your dog needs surgery here, take them for their word. They are not trying to up sell you like other vet clinics. They know exactly what your dog needs and the prices are good. Even if surgery costs $1200 here- most places it will cost $3000-4000 at least... Probably more. I trust these people with my animals. They work very hard for their customers and patients. And I see it every time I am here. My senior dog pictured below, is 13 years old. He needs his toe removed. They took all the necessities to ensure he is healthy for surgery in his later age and they don't rush you into the procedure. We're waiting a week to see if the toe heals and if surgery even makes sense for him. My other senior (not pictured) is 14 years old and has had two procedures here. Pyometra emergency spay, and a mass removal on her breast. We paid like $1000 for that. I guarantee any other vet clinic would have charged upwards of $3-5k for the same procedure.

We have been going to this vet for over 10 years. Affordable and always the best service. We recently had to say goodbye to our 15-year old cat. This was our first time saying goodbye to a pet at a vet clinic. Dr. Laurie and Juan were so kind and supportive every step of the way. Highly recommend this clinic.

Hermosa felt like a very rushed and un passionate environment. i came in and my puppy was very sick with parvo. the staff gave us no knowledge of the disease after testing positive. we were totally in the dark. they gave us two options either hospitalization or at home treatment. we went with the at home treatment because of the cost. we were being very cautious and gentle with our pup. i was calling the vet several times a day , staff just constantly dismissed me and my questions. the last day i seen my pup, i called staff to update them about my pups condition and ultimately that was dismissed as well, which unfortunately led to the passing of my pup.
