We are so happy with the care we’ve received from Canine Vet Care. Prices are reasonable, the facility is clean, the staff are always so kind, and most of all we really feel Dr. Heitman provides excellent care. Our dog usually has a fear of vets but she seems very at ease with Dr. Heitman. He’s thorough but never pushy. It’s been hard for us to make decisions that we feel are best for quality of life as our dog ages. He took the time to really discuss the options and gave us space to navigate it with all the information. We so appreciate that. Oprah is healing up well after surgery and seems better than ever. Thank you so much, we’re so happy to have such great care in the bench!

Our dogs love the Heitmans! These two veterinarians are so kind and gentle, they listen acutely and spend a generous amount of time with our animals, who have strange special needs. The vet techs and front desk service is excellent. The pricing is very fair and reasonable- makes it easier to give your animal great care. I feel very comfortable and confident with my dogs in their care.

I have used Canine Vet Care twice now and will definitely return! They first saw Daisy for a UTI and then a yeast infection in her ears. They were very good with her. She usually barks at the vet because she gets anxious. She hasn't barked at all here. She was seen both times by Dr. Andrew Heitman, he was gentle and she warmed right up to him. Found our new vet! 10/10

When you need a vet who’s willing to take a little extra time, call Canine Vet Care. Both of my dogs have received thoughtful, professional, and compassionate care here (regardless of the range of tolerance my dogs exhibit). Pricing is on par with other clinics in the area. Appointment availability is good. Follow up on diagnostics is timely. Dr. Heitman has been communicative and courteous, and both dogs seem to like him. Despite my best efforts, I am not a low maintenance dog owner, and I feel good about the care my dogs are getting.

I brought Faith in for an ongoing problem with her front leg "elbow" joint. I decided to try this new clinic based on how close it is to where I live. I’m so glad I did!!! I am so happy to have found Canine Vet Care to handle the medical care of my two dachshunds. It was important for me to find a privately-owned, independent veterinarian clinic making the decisions over my dogs instead of the corporate veterinary chains. I like the personal, compassionate care at Canine Vet Care where I can build a long-term relationship with Dr. Andrew Heitman and Dr. Kristine Heitman. As an independent clinic it is easier to make appointments, and get more individualized attention for my dogs. My dogs receive more attentive care from both vets, who take the time to get to know them and their specific needs. I really value and trust their expertise in handling the treatment of my dogs. The clinic is extremely clean and the staff is friendly and easy to work with. I can’t emphasize enough the personal care my dogs now receive at this clinic.
