Bellevue Animal Hospital

Had a great first visit to the vet! Receptionist (Sydney), nurse (Elizabeth) and vet (Kwak) were all so friendly and sweet. They answered all my questions and made sure my puppy was relaxed/happy for his checkup!

After moving to Seattle three years ago, we had been looking for a good vet and tried several places on the Seattle side. A friend referred us to Bellevue Animal Hospital, and it turned out to be much better quality service, well worth crossing the lake for. It’s easy to make appointments and reschedule if needed, and the staff are all super nice. Dr. Deibner is really attentive, practical, and takes great care of our senior Pomeranian. He alerted us to a potential heart condition and has also helped us smoothly handle international travel many times. Nurse Elizabeth is wonderful and always takes great care of our appointments. Vanessa at reception is also super helpful, always greeting us warmly and facilitating scheduling. We really appreciate the team here and highly recommend BAH.

Dr. Kwak is an outstanding veterinarian, and has been the primary doctor of our 2 kitties, D.C. and Pebbles, for around 3 years. The level of care and compassion she shows towards our cats sets a new benchmark for veterinary medicine, and hopefully an example for all other veterinarians in the greater Seattle area. Though we have only worked with Bellevue Animal Hospital once, I can tell that no matter who your provider is at Bellevue Animal Hospital, you need not worry about your animal recieving the best care and respect they deserve. The entire staff appear very knowledgeable, and they do their best to make your furry family member feel safe and comfortable. It is truly reassuring to know we have this level of care right next to us. I HIGHLY recommend giving Bellevue Animal Hospital a try. You owe it to your pets. Thank you again, Dr. Kwak!

I just moved to Bellevue from San Diego, and the very next day I found myself needing urgent care for my IVDD French bulldog after two long, exhausting days of driving. From the moment we walked into Bellevue Animal Hospital, I felt like we were in the right place. The entire team was incredibly kind, calm, and genuinely receptive. They took the time to ease my fears, answer all of my questions, and most importantly, help get my sweet boy Rambo back on track. You can tell they truly care—not just about the animals, but about the humans who love them too. I’m beyond grateful to have found them so quickly after moving, and I’m relieved knowing they’ll be the new vet for both of my Frenchies. I cannot recommend them enough. 🐾💛

Bellevue price$$$, mediocre service. The location is also awful with terrible parking and busy streets to stress your pet before you even enter the inconvenient converted office space. They don't upload your routine perscriptions for heartworm/flea & tick for you to cheaper online providers, like chewey, because it loses them money on their preferred perscription providers. Its certainly not the absurd excuse Jesse wrote below. They're pushy with unnecessary blood tests and even have a sales pitch ready if you decline a service as an experienced pet owner. If you're not sure that seems pushy- how about Jesse panic calling me right after this review was posted, after they directly solicited a review from me? You're unlikely to see the same young vet twice since this is a corpo run clinic, not a passionately owned smaller practice. Overall customer service is adequate but you can tell the vets are overscheduled and in a rush to get you out of the room. I wouldn't miss the business if they closed. Want a better review? Run a better business with more competitive pricing and higher quality service.

The team was very compassionate, professional, and responsive throughout our experience. They took the time to communicate clearly, follow up thoughtfully, and genuinely showed that they cared about both pets and owners. I especially appreciated the empathy and accountability from the staff, as well as the effort they made to ensure concerns were addressed properly. It’s clear that the people here truly care about the quality of care they provide. Thank you for taking care of my dog.
