Canyon Pet Hospital

On Christmas Eve my husband and I brought our 13 y/o pup Jack in to be put to sleep. He had been sick for a while. Canyon hospital worked with us to make his last days as comfortable as possible. They were there for us every step of the way to care for my precious Jack. On Christmas Eve they were loving, caring, and very patient with us. Jack was peaceful. He was never afraid or stressed at any time because of the loving treatment of the Doctor and her assistants. We had him cremated. His cremations were given back to us in a lovely urn and a card of condolences signed by the entire staff.

Amazing experience every time we email, call or bring our Yorkie in for all his allergy problems. Their office visits are the lowest we have found, their Rx prices are amazing! A very affordable experience. Very knowledgeable and helpful doctors! We highly highly recommend Dr. Nye and are so grateful for her compassion and responsiveness!

The staff at Canyon are always kind and professional, upbeat and friendly. I’m always happy with their service and how well and with patience they treat my dogs. I will say that while their prices for vaccinations have gone up, I’m sure that that reflects the overall market. No complaints here!

The quality of care has gone down in recent years. We have been bringing animals to canyon pet since the 80s or 90s and they have always been great, comfortable with large breeds like shepherds and rotties but in recent years scheduling days have reduced, staff is not as friendly and our most recent rottie was hurt when they overly tightened a muzzle when taken to the back. We have had to fight to keep us in the room for shots and muzzling because the staff seems almost afraid of her and has been since she was an 12 week old puppy. They have gotten much more expensive (as have all) but also fought us a bit on costco for prescriptions (which is a lot cheaper) when we've asked for it. We are currently shopping around for another clinic, but sad to go after decades here. They have been great with our cat, but I just sense a general discomfort with dogs or at the least larger breeds.

Always STELLAR vet care and customer service for my 2 Goldens @ Canyon Pet Hospital with Dr Nye, Dr Abbey, & Dr Baucom & their caring staff. Been going to them for 7 years and totally trust them with my beloved pups! Hospital space is welcoming and wait time is quick and easy. Space is clean and well cared for. You can tell the staff takes pride in their environment and the job they do each day caring for animals. Excellent advice and guidance! Wouldn’t go anywhere else! ❤️

I was going through pet screening for a new apartment and didn’t realize my dog’s vaccinations expired. They immediately booked us same day and we were in and out within 15 minutes. I’ve been going to Canyon Pet Hospital for 15 years and have always received the best care for my cats and dogs.

I love we can text and they are great at squeezing our dogs in on an emergency. They text the next day to find out how are pets are doing. Been with them for all our pets since 2003.
